I go here at least once every year. Normally during the new year season. I make it a point to visit and pray for thanksgiving for the past year and for a safe and fruitful year ahead. The place is a bit dirty and confusing but it is all part of the experience.

Thank Martyddr

Went here on my 10 day visit to Manila. This review is for the church and the general area. The church is big and very nice inside. An interesting experience to see how some crawl on their knees up to the alter. The Black Nazarene is there and a good life experience to see how the local revere it. The outside area is extremely crowded with street vendors and patrons and restaurants and smalls shops. Never seen deep-fried chicken intestines before, and wasn't brave enough to try it. Instead we went to Jollibee a very popular fast food restaurant. Overall a good and positive experience.

She was attending a mass that time so i was just waiting outside since im not catholic. Still i appreciate how people have deep faith to God.

I am not a Catholic so going to these kinds of churches is not my thing but I do know how to appreciate beauty and the structure of this church is beautiful,, just going out of the church ia kinda scary,, a lot of people and you have to take care of your belongings,
