I chose this restaurant for my only dinner in Kuala Lumpur based on it’s very good rating on Trip Advisor.
The service was excellent and they seated me immediately despite no reservation on a very rainy evening.
I would describe the food as very good with two of our four dishes being exceptional and the other two okay but not extraordinary.
Our two appetizers were the Lamb Frit Balls served with a nice dipping sauce which was great. The steamed Phoenix dumpling dish was nice but not extremely flavorful.
We shared the Mango Salad with Soft Shell Crab which was plentiful but again not special.
The hit of the meal was the Angus Beef Rendang which was delicious with tender beef in a flavorful sauce and a great version of a traditional Malaysian dish.
I had their Trader Vic Heads East cocktail which was very good and packed a punch(pun intended).
All in all a very nice experience
