Among the numerous food stalls along Jalan Alor, you'll find this simple and unique BBQ/satay eatery. An array of skewered delights from seafood, veggies and meats (including frog) ready to be grilled for you to enjoy with spicy peanut satay sauce. Sit behind the stall and have a beer with your feast! Cheap and quick service.

Read a review on T.A and as I'm staying local I wandered down with a mate and was simply blown away. You get given a metal bowl
Then choose from the vast array of skewered food that they then cook for you. From squid to veg to frogs to chicken they have skewered everything. It's a stall but you sit in a ramshackled court behind it where you can grab a beer. Me and a pal had buckets of delicious food - the tilapia fish being my favourite and all for about twenty English quid. The experience alone is great, then the food knocks your blooming socks off!

Great satay place on Jalan Alor! Big choice of different veg, meat and seafood! Very friendly people speaking good English. Very helpful to explain what is to eat! You can take away or seat on the back (lot of cats around) and wait for Your order. Very tasty food and sauces! Delicious frog! Don't worry to try, my 6 year old daughter tried and didn't regret (but she is half French so not surprised that she like it;)

Quick, easy and authentic way to get your fix of Malaysian street food.

There is literally everything you could imagine on a stick! 2-6 ringgit each for the normal items - chicken, duck, pork, lamb, even pork belly! More for the crazy ones - 25 for a whole frog on a satay stick...if you dare!

Friendly staff that speak English and you can even sit down at the tables behind the stall and have a Tiger if you wish.

Vendors are friendly, and they speak English, which is quite helpful.
I like it that even though they make suggestions, they are not pushy, and don't make you buy more stuff than you want. There is a lot of variety, seafood, meats, vegetables and so on. You can have it grilled, steamed, boiled, whatever.
The food is fresh, the prices are very straightforward and fair, and it's simple good food.
You can eat right there near the stall (there are tables), or take away.
I went there twice, and both times it was very good.
