For many many years over more than 15 years Quality Hotel was my favourite hotel in Kuala Lumpur and for official or non official reasons i stayed here for it great location, friendly staff and awesome breakfast which was served as early as 6.30am. That was the story during the prime years of Quality Hotel. Leo Pacific Hotel took over after the old building of Quality Hotel after PKNS decided to close the hotel in 2014 and a few weeks ago when i called to make a booking, it already taken over by Summit Hotel.

We think the quality of it service really had gone down to almost zero. The room with 2 single bed I booked was really in bad conditions. The room itself looked old and in need of major refurbishment. The bathroom was quite slippery, the pipe for shower was old and lose; and stains in the toilet bowl.

The restaurant where the breakfast should be served was in haphazardously wet condition because of some major pipe leakage. And they unable to serve anything for breakfast at 7.00am and we have to check out early for our 9.00am appointment.

Very disappointed and not coming back.

I have stay this hotel for my first time booked from booking.Com website and location was quiet easy access to Sogo Shopping centre and Mara IT centre and LRT station

Upon my arrival, between 230 pm on 7 th april 2018 ,room was allocted at Level 13 with King size bed @ Non Smoking floor.

Room- As You can see the picture attach ,there is few defect especially bathroom such like Handbasin leaking and Shower head main point was not function till i need to call for maintenance staff between 1800 to 1830 pm but still unable to fixed and upon return to my room between 2030 pm,defect was still there.We have to called again to fixed for second time and the nice indian Eng staff was managed help us .

Moreover found duvet with Blood stain and toilet bowl was not proper clean and bathroom ceiling with fungus.

TV channel -NOT up to basic standard channel and there is without TV list inside drawer and only basic amenities such like coffee and tea and iron board BUT NO IRON or slippers and safe box Out of Order

I Hope the new management team who operates this hotel and now become The summit Hotel managed to check the all room and continue train all operations staff especially Front line staff when handling guest complaint and follow up issue guest.

Leo PACIFIC is very well located ,within a nice walk to historic ,recently renovated original city centre ,with fantastic historic buildings,Central market and China Town ..all linked by good walking paths. The staff here are excellent and the B/F room and food are first class. The dining room staff are terrific ! High floor ,Renovated rooms are the go ! Well maintained pool .Recommend .Will return for third long stay soon .

Room Tip: High Floor renovated rooms are quiet and spacious.

This Hotel needs major renovation. The room had appalling facilities. The water is brown. there was no shower curtain for the bath. Thus the floor is wet n slippery/. It provides very little body gel, shampoo and no hair conditioner. There was no face and hand towels. They only provide bath towels. The TV remote had a black tape to hold the batteries. (room 1110). I used bottled water to brush my teeth. The restaurant for breakfast was also a terrible state. the small bowls at the egg station had dirty bowls. Bowls that had been washed haphazardly. There were egg stains in nearly every bowl. I alerted the restaurant manager. They do not make the rooms unless asked. There is actually no housekeeping personnel or department. The telephone doesn't work. There is ringing sound but no one will answer your called. This is really nerve wrecking.

Coffeshop - good (food & service)
Front counter - friendly and efficient
Room - quite run down, needs improvement
HOUSEKEEPING - POOR - Need to call 3 X before can obtain extra towel and bottled water for family room.
DUTY MANAGER - NOT EFFECTIVE -though highlighted to him about housekeeping issue, was told to call housekeeping again if not responded after 5 minutes if still not serviced. Waited about 20 minutes, still no response. Had to call again to housekeeping before being attended. Duty Manager should be pro-active and liaise with Housekeeping to attend immediately
