We loved out stay in Osaka, the shuttle to osaka station was incredibly handy and ran all the time.... We would also like to thank Concierge, who advised us on so much stuff, gave us maps and answered all our questions about getting to universal Studio, and the complimentary shuttle was excellent... .. Our room was small, but bigger than some we stayed in this trip, it was really quiet and if course clean.... RIHGA Royal was a lovely hotel, we would definitely stay again.... We didnt do breakfast as it was quite expensive, but the 7/11 down stairs supplied everything we needed...... once again, thanks so much..

This hotel needs an overall upgrade. Rooms are really dated with tired furnishings. The rooms are also tiny and STINK of cigarette smoke. We were in a non-smoking room?? I wouldn’t book here again unfortunately.

Stayed a night from Sunday. The hotel was very busy with many wedding parties. It was much quieter on Monday. Access to the hotel is quite good with a free bus service to and from JR Osaka Station, as well as being directly connected to Nakanoshima Station on the Keihan Nakanoshima Line. The twin-bed room was quite large. So was the bathroom compared with typical Japanese city hotels. The bed was very comfortable as well. I agree with some reviews saying it's expensive to eat in the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the Fukushima area some of which I found quite good.

We got a good deal at this hotel, however, like others we could not afford to eat there. But the super staff were happy to recommend restaurants in the area which were within walking distance and we returned to one that they recommended, it was so good. Also, because of the free shuttle bus we were able to use this facility to find suitable breakfast places around the station. The room was a good size and so was the bathroom, but I would have expected a larger bed - a little cramped for the size of the room and both of us verge on the skinny size of small. I was also unaware of the 7/11 in the basement and have just found out about it by reading previous reviews! Therefore my feedback to the hotel would be to make sure the guests know about all the available facilities, either by promotional literature at check-in or in the room. Please also get an English TV channel - BBC News or CNN. I think you would get better reviews if you had more affordable dining - it's just too expensive to eat there and I think you are missing a trick.

Conveniently connected to the Osaka Internatinal Convention Center, this prestigious and historic hotel offers two towers of rooms, a variety of Japanese and European restaurants, its own shopping arcade and a swimming pool (spoiler: only free for Club members; $32 per hotel guest to swim per session). Hotel bonuses: easy front of lobby access to Kaisen train line, free shuttle to and from Osaka Station every 6 to 15 minutes, multilingual and very helpful concierge staff and ample international breakfast as part of hotel package.
