Went to this market on a Friday morning and lucky for me it was not filled with people yet.

A market that sells a lot of food (seafood, premium beef, crabs, fruits etc), groceries, alcohol and much more. While visiting this area and if you are a huge fan of seafood and beef, be sure to have enough cash. The food are pretty expensive. Some sections do sell some dry food as well.

Worth a visit to experience some really nice food though it is expensive. Recommended food to try will be the shashimi and kobe beef!

You pick the seafood and they will quickly cook it for you on the spot/or eaten raw depending on food. Crowds may be thick during lunch hours so in some stalls seats can be limited. You will see some items being sold at many stalls. I would definitely come here again if I'm ever in Osaka.

I've visited Kuromon Market several times. It's become more crowded in recent years, and has lost some of its original atmosphere.
The food is good, but has become more expensive as more tourists have flocked to the area.
No longer a 'must-visit' in my opinion, due to crowds and rising prices.

We hit the Kuromon market an hour before closing and it was a mad dash to try to sample as much food as possible. You can shop groceries and merchandise at the market but we were there for the eat-on-the-street food. We ran out of time, but it was a blast. Highlights: Scallop cooked on the half shell, BBQ bun with miso sauce, otoro sashimi, BBQ unagi (eel) on a stick. Tasty and fun!
