Excellent place to get lunch items. They have a nice selection of pre-made sandwiches, lots of pastries and drinks. You can eat in but you'll pay a bit more and you have to order drinks off the menu instead of getting a to-go drink. We usually get lunch here to go. Their bean buns are excellent - they have several, favors, red bean, yellow bean, matcha, etc. Service is very good and friendly. Highly recommend it.

Very over processed food. Tastes more like plastic. They have an oven for you to reheat your own food and non of he food on display is competed which seams very unhygienic. The seething is fine but not particularly nice. I wouldn’t recommend.

We came here almost everyday for breakfast/brunch. The food is so good, the girls working here are super nice and the coffee is acceptable, more important the price is superb, it was incredible as we were in a tight budget.

Apparently present all over Kyoto, this particular bakery was close to our hotel and we stepped in unresearched for an afternoon snack and coffee. We had a quite tasty super-thick raisin toast that came with coffee for one plus a separate caffe latte. The bakery items look very enticing and people seemed to like them. This is a quiet little place and we got into a pleasant if somewhat limited conversation with a Japanese mother-daughter pair sitting at the next table. Enjoyable, relaxing and reasonably priced.

Arrived in Japan yesterday and popped into this little bakery to be very pleasantly surprised. Needed a quick bite before heading off to view the Cherry Blossom in the Inokashira Koen - a large park just minutes away. Missed the breakfast options by two minutes, so opted for the scone with earl grey tea. The warm Scone was exceptionally good with just right portion of butter and jam. The cakes selection was very impressive and of course tempting - the Victoria Cake especially caught my eye. Rose Bakery in Kichijoji is minutes from the station and has much more to offer than you would think.
