We were fortunate to happen upon Cafe Terrasse while in Kitano. Though there is a nice terrace out front we chose to dine indoors in the pleasant ambience. The layout and the dish ware seemed very (old) French in a lovely way. Nice tablecloths and quality tableware, English menus, plenty of wood inside, and an English-speaking waiter.
The wine list is respectable and reasonably priced. There are three prix fixe menus daily and a good al la carte selection as well. We tried a beef dish and fish and were pleased with the preparation and presentation. Service was attentive and reasonably paced. I can see why this is a popular location for locals.
