Great hotel for families and lots to do with a little imagination

The staff here were very accomodating and nice to me, my wife and children. Yes, its not in a main city (its on Rokko Island) but who cares....a very convenient train station connects to the hotel and its on $1.50 to ride into town and connect to all other trains stations. There is also a great supermarket right at the train station and we usually went there for our sushi and other eats then brought them back with us. The lounge is crowded but the staff there are very accomodating. The pool is awesome and the kids and my wife loved the Onsen and exercise facilities. The front desk staff and very knowledgeable and extremely professional and nice. The buffet in the morning is loaded with lots of options and a great dinning experience. The cooks and servers are all very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and I lucked out with a small upgrade but it was still very satisfying. I felt very safe at the hotel and never had any safety issues. there is also bus service that will take you into town. I travel a lot and really respect the hotel management here - they run a well disciplined operation. I don't drink alcohol so the lounge at night wasn't a big deal for me but the morning breakfast was spectacular and for my kids it was all they needed as the buffet would have been overwhelming for them. The maps will guide you to the tourist spots but be prepared to do a lot of walking. The pizza joint next to the hotel was terrible dont eat there. McDonalds and a Chinese restaurant are steps away and so are lots of other options. Brush up on your Japanese a little and it will go a long way while visiting all the sites.
