We were unsure what to expect of this hotel after reading some reviews but it was a very nice property. We decided to stay at this one since it's part of the Starwood/Marriott brand which we prefer. Coming in from the bullet train from Beijing, this is a very easy hotel to use, it's only 4 stops away and 2 RMB on Line 2. The hotel is literally right outside the train exit B.

The check in staff (Aeron) was friendly and helpful. We booked the 2 room apartment which was huge and less than the cost of 2 rooms for a family of 5. The room came with a full dining area, living room, kitchen, washer/dryer and even an automatic mahjong table. In total it was 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, all were very nice.

The fitness area was a bit small but certainly usable and the pool/spa area was very nice also. We used the concierge lounge and breakfast areas on both days. I would say the the food quality/presentation were good, not excellent.

The hotel is down the street from a western type mall if you want to eat at the food court. The convenience of the train allowed us to get to the bell/drum tower/muslim quarter area for 2RMB to buy some souvenirs. Since we flew from Xi'an to BJ, the easiest was to take arrange a taxi for about 150 RMB instead of trying to take public transit which would have taken more than twice as long.

I would recommend this hotel if you're coming in on the bullet train.

Have stayed in other hotels local to this location but find Sheraton the best . Nice stay , good English spoken and very attentive staff . Breakfast is excellent even if the coffee isn’t great but it is china . There is a Starbucks across the road . Next to subway so also good if you need to get to train stations . Used the gym this time .
My comment is to ensure steam room and sauna is on ready for guests !!

I wanna spend a little time for write something about the lobby bar of the this hotel,is not the first for me in this hotel and also this time I’m really satisfied about the staff of the lobby bar.
Every time the quality of the service is the top,the guys is very friendly and professional the quality of the food is really good also the choices of the beer!!!
I suggest at all gust take one beer ,one cocktail o one sandwich in the lobby bar...feeling is like at home!!!

We stayed overnight here but did arrive early. We were able to experience the food court and the hospitality of the hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the room we stayed in was large and very comfortable. The toilet was stopped up when we arrived but one phone call had the maintenance man there in a flash and was easily fixed. The bathroom is larger than by bedroom at home! The food was average though the choices were numerous. I am sure anyone can find something to fill their tummy. It was located very close to the north gate so our excursion at night brought us around the beautifully lit building , a nice bonus.

I was surprised to learn that this hotel was a 5 star hotel the food was not of great quality
I have stayed at better hotels that were 3 star.
The breakfast was not a fantastic quality but eatable,Their is a problem with women of the night at this hotel but i think it is just the area.
