Stayed as a part of a tour and deemed the hotel to be acceptable. If you have travelled and experienced you would not give this hotel a 5 star rating. One of the problems is that China has changed its laws regarding smoking but the Chinese do enjoy a fag and will smoke them anywhere, laws or not. As a smoker who goes outside I found this scenario throughout the tour irritating

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour for two nights! Bed was comfortable, bathroom especially the shower was first class. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight. The toaster only toasted on one side of the bread so had to turn to toast on both sides so this caused a bit if a bottle neck! Other than that enjoyed what was on offer.

It was good to arrive at the Yulong International Hotel, which was our first Chinese hotel which I could rate above 3 stars. Although remote from shops and attractions (I think!!), it had free wifi, two free bottles of water, a good room, air conditioning which worked and an OK breakfast.
The bed, like all the hotels we stayed in, was hard, but we managed to sleep OK.

Second stop on a Wendy Wu tour of China. On first appearance the hotel looks very impressive, with a light, airy, marble entrance and reception. When you get to the rooms, initially everything looks good, but on closer inspection you realise that there are stains on the furniture and everything looks in need of some care and attention. But, I was only here for one night and was only interested in getting a good night’s sleep so wasn’t overly bother by this. However, between the rock hard bed (I like a firm bed but this was too hard even for me) and the traffic noise which was incessant throughout the night – sleep was nowhere to be found. This hotel really needs to invest in some soundproofing for the rooms. The only positive was the excellent free Wi-Fi connection.

Stayed here as part of a Wendy Wu tour. The foyer was worth some time, as the jade carvings etc. were excellent. Comfortable bed, despite the fear it would be hard. Good breakfasts. Bathroom clean and plenty of room to spread yourselves.

Room tip: Not sure here, as we were allocated
