We had a 2 night stay here as part of a Wendy Wu China Delights tour. One of the best hotels we stayed at as part of this tour. Room was generally very good with a first class bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The breakfast is decent with western and Chinese food. Cannot comment on room value as this hotel was booked by Wendy Wu. Got a good rate of exchange when I changed pounds to Yuan at the hotel desk. Overall judged by European standards this would pass as a European four star hotel.

2 day stay here with Wendy Wu tour at this lovely hotel. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast although the bar did sell alcohol; however, there was a small supermarket just down the road whic we could take in.

A lovely hotel with superb decoration. Bedroom was spacious and well furnished with tasteful furniture. There was a good selection of toiletries n the bathroom, but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable! I survived by putting extra pillows under the sheet to lay on. Tea making facilities were provided and also 2 bottles of complimentary water on first day and the food was good. Would recommend the hotel if bed more comfortable.

Hotel 7 on our tour of China and it was a good hotel with good facilities including a bar and good breakfast area and choice of food. However, yet again it was out of the way and there was really no where to go out to at night. Air con suspect (again)

China Eastern Airbus 321 600 mile flight from Beijing to Xi'an - accompanied by the excellent National Guide Shirley. Meal on flight. Airports are modern and well signed in English. Hotel breakfast good spread, interesting sweet dumplings should have tried them, but limited western breakfast - did not matter as two cooked meals a day. A new local guide gave us a lot of local information. Hot day 33C so tried to stay in shade on the city wall walk prior to Tiao Dumplings dinner and evening Tan selection of less spicy dishes can be arranged. Next morning off to Terracotta warriors pits 1 2 and 3 via a small factory shop making small and very large imitations (price includes shipping not sure about import dity) plus a good selection of other tourist gifts and even large furniture. Terracotta warriors were as good as you would wish but no need to see intro film. English descriptions. Good toilets. Very busy but still enough room to see. Leaving site there is a large tourist eating/shopping area including some international chains - we had soup and sandwiches plus a tea demonstration for lunch. Note for main meals need to buy water, soft drink or beer. Direct to airport for China Air B737 350 mile Chengdu flight. Guides taught us a little Chinese each day enough to order a beer and fend off street traders. Packed a lot in for a short 24 hour stay in Xi'an.

Room Tip: Selected by Wendy Wu were good. National guide always checked we were happy with the rooms. 2 free waters bottles but others are chargeable
