the resort was clean and tidy the rooms clean and well kept to us as a family the laundry (bedding) was fresh and crisp no musty odure , you do need a car to go to the shops or down town but all in all a good stay with nice people .

Room Tip: all the rooms are fine turn the A/C to 24c for a comfortable night any less it gets really cold with all of that marble flooring.

The resort is located about 5km north of Yanbu along a creek. The rooms are spacious, we had a 2 bedroom with sleeping space for 8 (4 on regular beds, 4 on two fold-away sofas). The place was reasonably clean, including the resort surroundings.
Good location on the beach but, it being Saudi Arabia, getting wet is strictly a men's affair. Women are expected to dress in the black Abaya once outsdie the room.
Swimming in front of the resort is diffcult due to the water being only ankle deep.
The resort does not have a restaurant other than a little snackbar. Although the room is equipped with a full size kitched, there is nothing in it! Your only food option is to go to the supermarket a few km up the road or visit the AlAhlam Marina restaurant, also a km away. It is highly recommended to rent a car as walking from place to place is not really an option.
When you have a ca, it also gives you the option to drive along the shore to the north where isolated beaches await you with prisitne reefs. Bring footwear suitable for in the water.
Although AlAhlam is a dive operator, organisation is amateuristic. We were only able to get a boat for 1 out of the 3 days stay. The poor service is also expensive, the Dolphin resort next door will organise the same trips for half the money.

Room Tip: Rooms with low numbers (e.g. 101, 201) are facing the sea
