On belah of a friend who has stayed here in June 2017.

Filthy dirty hotel. Carpets, bedrooms, bed lined, bathroom, sewage guttering all dirty and stink!

Staff are lazy, do not do any cleaning properly just superficial dusting! no cleanliness or comfort.

Do nto waste your money here. this place should be closed down and rebuilt. do not get fooled by the external look of the building.

Room Tip: book elsewhere!

Not so wonderful stay. The hotel is old and definitely not worth the cost.
● Breakfast wasn't outstanding. Everyday the same thing was being served but cooked a little bit differently. There wasn't a big variety of food. Only four types of them. Breakfast ends at 10. When it's nearly 10 o'clock the waiters started to take the trays of food away. So, even if you are still eating and want some more, you won't get food.
● room service wait for tips after doing a favour.
●Kettle is not available. Should ask the room service.
●Room service come to clean room everyday.
●Hotel very near to haram mosque. To be more precise, it's near gate 15 and women section.
●Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby but poor connection.
●Elevators are very very very busy during peak time.
●location good for old people.
●The reception guys are okay.

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 5 days and we experienced many problems whilst staying here. Firstly, the lifts...it would take around 15m to get a lift at prayer times. Once you get a lift, it would go up and down and waste time. The only good thing about this hotel is that it was very close to the masjid. It was right in front of gate 15. The breakfast was good on 2 occasions and the the rest normal food. There wasn't a large variety of foods. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. The room service was decent. We stayed in small room which had four beds. It was tough. The WiFi was absolutely pointless doesn't even work. And it is only available in the lobby. The service was good, as soon as we arrived in Madina we got our rooms straight away which was very good. My overall experience was okay not the best. The Elaf hotel in Makkah was much better.

The best thing about the hotel was the location. It is right next gate 15. Gate 15 is a good spot because you have local shops. You have the taibah mall, bin dawood mall. Breakfast was not fantastic but allhumdullah it was sufficient and average makkah elaf had better breakfast. The roza is at gate 1 and is about a 15 minute walk. Then janatal baki is about 20 mins from hotel. The service was good however the lifts where absolutly rubbish. The room.that we stayed didnt have a standalone shower it had a bath. The staff were helpful. The shop inside the hotel for dates. Is average price for chocolates dates is good i got them for around 25 SR that the going rate. However the wifi was not working at all and was a joke. In both makkah and madina elaf hotel did not have a good wifi and didnt work most off the time and when you asked staff what happen they would respond its not working and they didnt bother fixing it. We got our rooms quite quickly. Gate 6 is the date market i would recommend shop 62 very helpfull brother gave us good dates. Long walk with dates if you are buying allot take a taxi. Hope this helped.

Best thing about this hotel is it's location. Very near to the holy masjid. Gate 15. You are in the masjid courtyard in a couple of minutes.i can see the green some of roza shareef from our room.
Room was spacious. Old decor . Comfortable beds. Sofa , chair.
Bathroom old but shower powerful and hot water
Room service good. Cleaning and change of bed linen and towels daily
Internet. A laugh. Only in the lobby and very very weak. Not worth wasting time.

Room Tip: Haram view and higher
