Had a great meal here in quiet surroundings (only two other customers). The restaurant feels as if it is in a cellar, and has a cosy atmosphere. Ordered steak and requested it to be done rare - it arrived rare indeed, a thick cut with fried potatoes and a delicious sauce. Many restaurants (in my experience) in Russia do not do rare steaks very well, and an order of "medium rare" inevitably comes back halfway to well done. This was definitely not so here, we got just what we asked for, complimented with a glass of excellent Malbec and friendly, unobsequious service from a waiter who spoke English. Very good value steaks and good quality.
