We arrived around 11am and had to wait for check in or pay 800RUB! They do not have kettles in the room but they are comfortable. You can only use the pool and sauna from 6-10am. Just a short walk down the road towards the metro is a park that comes alive at night with nice places to eat and bars

The hotel is nice from a newness perspective, beds are relatively comfortable. Rooms size is very small, but mine had a small balcony. Staff were generally helpful with limited English.

The main flaw is the lack of sound insulation on the interior. Someone making a call next door may as well be inside the room. Hallway noise was also abrasive.

The Avanta Hotel, is very nice new building, modern style and pure out of glass. So it doesn't fit, thanks god to its environment. 5 minutes walk away from Berezovaya Roshcha metro station, in a calm part of the city. 70 EUR/night on the weekend

Advantages:
- Newly build
- Good modern furniture (good bed, etc.)
- Friendly & helpful staff
- Really good food and coffee
- Nice views and big windows
- Small pool and sauna
- Small but nice library with a nice view

Development opportunities:
- No bathrobe
- limited amount of bathroom utensils (maybe it is useful to switch to dispenser instead)
- Only one bottle of water in the room (but for free, that's nice and in the library is a water cooler)
- Rooms are not really sound proof, you can hear your neighbor (but they offer for free ohropax)

So in all, clear recommendable for the price.

What I liked: the staff is very very kind and helpful, free wi-fi is easy to use and reliable, the food at the restaurant is pretty good, the bathtub is comfortable and spacious even though the bathroom is not large, the location is great: right across the street is a small grocery store, a little down the street is the nice and big Siberian Mall which lots of stores, Auchan supermarket, food court and other cafes, a subway station is 5 minutes away, there's a small amusement park nearby, and it's almost in the center, 5 minutes in a taxi cab is all you need to get to most of the city attractions, night clubs, theaters, parks. Great location.
Also most rooms seem to have a nice large balcony.
What I didn't like:
Seems like the management is trying to save on everything; all the bathroom amenities are cheap and poor quality, no bathrobes, slippers are embarrassingly cheap and impossible to use, I recommend bringing your own shampoo, toothbrush, because what they provide is pretty bad. Also they provide bare minimum: shower gel and shampoo in soft plastic bags that are impossible to rip open with wet fingers, toothbrush, soap and earplugs (because walls are thin, you can hear everything although that didn't bother me) One morning no breakfast buffet was served, because they didn't have enough people staying, so you just get either breakfast set 1 or set 2, that really upset me, that's not the experience I had paid for!
Overall I realize that Russian hotels are still in the learning phase and far from perfect, finding a great Russian hotel is like winning a lottery. Given that, this hotel is pretty good, it's modern and clean, the staff is nice, and those are the most important things. I would stay there again, but bring my own shampoo and bathrobe.

Clean rooms, wide bathrooms, friendly stuff, great breakfast - all this makes staying at Avanta quite comfortable. A bit remote from the noisy city centre but the nearest subways station ('Beryozovaya roscha') is about 5-7 minutes away on foot so it's easy to get anywhere you need. Being new is a real bonus for the hotel, as there are others in the same price category but way older (Soviet heritage) so you'll get less for your money.
