Good pace if you don`t want to spend a lot of money. The neighbourhood it's no the best, but has a supermarket two blocks away. Eitherwise, you can walk for about 10 minutes and get Nevsky Prospekt or St Isaac Cathedral.
The hostel it's allright. All the things that wrote the other writer here are almoust solved. Free wi-fi in hall and rooms. Bathrooms and shower are not the best, but clean always. We do not recomend to left food in the fridge. We had a bad experience, but it could be just bad luck.
The building has a bad aspect, it's old, but the Hostel it's so much better in the inside. If you can, get the 201 room, it's the best one for two persons, with the bathrooms in front of it, and the showers just a few steps away.
Strange, but we only saw teen russian tourist, but they were not too noisy.
The staff in reception speak a little english, but are very friendly and helpful.More
