We were only two, but the apartment could easily accommodate two more. In the picture is the living room, which is quite large, and the couch works as a bed. There is also a large kitchen, another bedroom. Flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom, which is quaintly decorated with a library motif. The apartment has all amenities and is very centrally located within a few minutes' walk of Ploschad Vosstaniya metro, and trolleys and buses stop across the street. (For instance, #27 bus will take you to the Mariinsky Theater.) Things to note: there is no WiFi signal in the living room (which faces Nevsky Prospect, which somehow blocks the signal); the renting agent is not very responsive, so if you absolutely need something, call him; and, even though there is an elevator, you need to walk down one small flight of stairs to reach the apartment, which is only a concern when you arrive and depart with luggage, but is not important during your stay. There is also a 24-hour supermarket right across the street.
