Owner description: This green space in central Moscow is great for people-watching and an ideal spot for some rest and relaxation. The park’s pond also serves as an ice rink in the winter and is home to swans in the summer.

My cousin just moved in in the area so I've visited there for the first time. The park is beautiful and the pond view in the middle is astonishing. It's quite cold already now and the leafs have mostly fallen already from the trees so this might not be the best season to visit there. Nevertheless, I'm sure I'll visit there again since it's way too beautiful.
Don't miss a visit there while you're in Moscow :)

Read the beautiful novel "Master and Margerita" by M. Bulgakov, and had to visit the Pond.

The Patriarch's Ponds is actually one small pond at the center of Moscow. It's surrounded by trees, and people come there to relax, jog or walk their dogs.

It's a beautiful and relaxing spot in the middle of a busy city.

‘The Ponds’ or Patriki are nicknames of the place. We jog, walk with kids, meet for a drink or coffee or ice-cream. The best thing is that you can always go there. Sit and meditate or chat with friends.
Yes, it’s overcrowded on the summer weekends. But we, who lives there, love this place with all our heart.

This is the park where Satan appears in the Master and Margarita so we had to visit it. Nice and peaceful with some interesting sculpture. Nice for a sit down on a busy sight-seeing day.

Earlier it was a beautiful place with good historic spirit, but now it terns to extra-fashinable plase with a lot of character-less expensive restrane and big crouds of people. Never drive there by car. Never go there during weekends.
