We stayed for one night in April 2018. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were shown to our rooms. The rooms were very clean, with a TV and a toilet and shower.

The staff, especially the owner were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do more to help us. She was so welcoming and went out of her way to drop us to where we were going.

The price was very reasonable and The location is good also as it’s quite near to the airport.

The boss is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable; They have a TV (only local channels), a fridge and a private bathroom. It is possible to eat on site (breakfast, dinner ...), the food is good and the prices are correct. Follow the owner's advice if she invites you to go to the restaurant "Su Tu Kil", the best fish restaurant on the island!

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights as it is close to the centre where my daughter is doing her PADI training. We came a bit early but the staff was happy to check us in. We had a welcome drink of iced tea and that was really nice! The staff are very helpful and attend to whatever needs or questions we had. We got the room on the 3rd floor. The room is clean and there is plenty of space to move about. The double bed is a bit small. We are not huge people, 47 and 56 kilos and there really no room for two people to move about comfortably. There is and AC, telly and fridge in our room, the latter very handy to store fruits (bought from nearby mall) and away from the ants. We found a few black ants on the floor so we were extra careful not to eat our fruits in the room. There is a balcony where you can eat your fruits. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor serving mostly Filipino food plus fries and hotdogs. It is an open air type so expect flies. Our booking includes breakfast so we eat our breakfast at the hotel but eat our lunch or dinner at a karinderia 4 metres across the square that serves Filipino home cooking and costs next to nothing. There is no hot water for shower but I heard that some rooms have hot water provided if you request for one. We really don't mind the cold shower. The shower flow is poor, no shampoo or shower gel provided so bring your own. We found a couple of roaches in the toilet and we think they were coming from the overflow drainage hole in the sink. We blocked that and that seemed to have solved the problem. The room lacks hanging space for damp swim suits and damp clothes (when you get caught unprepared from the tropical rain outside.) There is one towel rail in the toilet which is just enough for one damp towel. There is ongoing work and decorating in the few next rooms so I guess these are still some bits they need to add to the rooms. Bring earplugs if outside noises bothers you at night as it's next to a very busy noisy street.
I still give this hotel a 3 star as the staff is one of the most helpful hotel staff we ever came across. Kudos to them. And for the price, we didn't expect 5 star hotel room treats. We were happy to spend 5 nights there.
Please fix that leaking toilet water tank.

Cheap enough property and clean but these are the only 2 good points. Staff have no idea how to run a hotel and are confused easily. They also run a disgusting restaurant in the same building with terrible service and food ... with no apology or explanation why food service takes forever (over 1 hour for a simple filipino dish). Only 1 towel provided for a twin room. Sheets feel like cardboard. Internet was sketchy.

The absolute worst problem was that the agreed 3:15 am shuttle to the airport to catch a flight didn't exist, with no one around to help or arrange for some transportation. I had to scramble at a nearby corner with a motorized tricycle driver to get me to a proper taxi stand about 5 km away ... this ended up costing more as well.

The staff just have no idea how to work in a service industry. The location is terrible with very little choice of eating places in the area. Also much too far from the airport to be considered convenient. Stay away!!!
