we stayed here during Cebu's busiest weekend, in time for the Sinulog festival. the lobby was a hub of activity with a band and costumed dancers which made you feel you're already participating in the festivities. the rooms are ok for the price, the wifi is acceptable, the tv has enough channels, the ayala mall is just a short walk across the street, the staff is warm and cordial so you never felt neglected. since our tour package did not include breakfast, we did not have the chance to try their restaurant.

Room Tip: rooms away from the elevators are generally more quiet since you have less foot traffic.

(+)
very spacious room. good view of the city, very good location as its just right across the Ayala Mall. lots of laundry services outside the hotel. friendly security guards and housekeeping staff!

(-)
too many people at the lobby all the time. for the staff tho, not all Filipino women with Caucasian men are 'working girls' - stop stereotyping.
breakfast has many option however doesnt really taste great. we got stomach flu after... :(
small bathroom.
there should be added security with the elevator as anyone can go up even if they arent guests. I find this a bit disturbing.

I stayed here 3 times on my way through Cebu City on a dive trip. The check in is efficient, the price was right pre-booked at about 65bux pn per room for a deluxe. They put me in a corner room the first time – very nice and well-appointed with floor to ceiling glass on two sides, safe box, kettle and welcome snacks. Decent TV with a good selection of channels.

The second time I stayed, they tried to put me in a normal deluxe – it was a bit drab actually, having a corner room makes all the different. So, they very accommodatingly changed my room for me. Third time I didn’t need to ask. Breakfast is great – many Philippinos stay here, so there is a great choice of western along with Philippino stodge – which I enjoy in the mornings.

Great location for Ayala Mall across the road, where there are plenty of shops, restos and ATMs, within 5 minute’s walk.

My only criticism is that there isn’t a proper bar at the hotel, just a long bar top that doubles as a bar in the evening, in the restaurant area. They could do with a proper bar.

Room Tip: get the corner delux rooms

Dear ricky_indo,
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Quest Cebu. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the corner room as well as the breakfast buffet, recently voted as Cebu's best. As for a proper bar, you are right, we do not have one. We do have a pool bar on the 7th floor as an alternative and we are currently working on additional furniture to allow guests a more comfortable experience. Our bartenders there can also whip up a good margarita and other cocktails which you can enjoy with bar chow. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back to Quest Cebu.

Right in the centre of business district this ia a very good hotel. It has integral multi story car park and conference facilities. There is a busy and very good restaurant. During my visit one of the 4 elevators was out of service. Rooms were fine with nice views but the tiled floor was a but uncomfortable.

Dear buckfast39,
Thank you very much for your kind words and for highlighting the availability of car parking facilities and conference facilities at the Hotel. Indeed, Puso enjoys very good patronage from both hotel as well as walk-in guests from all over the city, particularly our breakfast buffet that has been recently voted Cebu's Best. I would also like to apologize for the inconvenience of having one elevator down, we had to perform maintenance to ensure its safety. During your next visit, do let us know of any room concerns, we will be happy to find solutions for you. Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit.

Hotels lobby was crowded.
Checking in took quite a while.
There were only two elevators working at the time we were there so waiting time was long.
Bathroom robes & slippers had to be requested.
Toiletries didn't include lotion. And upon request, they didn't have any.
Towels were worn out & hard on the skin.

However, the staff were very friendly & accomodating.

Dear ceny28,
Thank you for choosing Quest Cebu and for highlighting our friendly and accommodating staff. I apologize that during your stay, two of the elevators had to be closed briefly for emergency maintenance to ensure everyone's safety. But I am happy to report that this did not last long and the elevators were released soon after that. We have also changed the old towels with new ones, and I hope you will be able to enjoy them upon your next visit. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back to Quest Cebu.
