One of the oldest standing friar house in the Philippines, house made from the same stone as that of the Sto. nino church. Second missionaries that arrived after that of Magellan's. You'll be brought back through time when you enter the " pueblo "

This is a "must visit" to every tourist's agenda. The rich history of this place makes this a most enjoyable destination. Our tour guise, Christian, was very knowledgeable. I would visit this place again should I be fortunate enough return to Cebu.

Christian gave us a 90 minute tour with passion and a genuine love of the musueum. Quirky history and location. Refreashingly different. 50 peso entrance does not do justice to Christians effort and guiding service. An anachronism in a steel metal factory. Loved the Juke Box too, it was fun looking at the record list too! Support some special and unique and escape an ac mall for a morning.

I visited here in early December with no idea what I was walking into, especially as I was led into an active garage. But the house inside is an incredible gem with layers of history painting a picture of the different people, cultures, and histories that are woven together in Cebu. Christian, our guide, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable and went out of his way to give us a personalized tour.

Don't miss making a stop here while in Cebu. I'm looking forward to coming back in February with a group of my students!

Went with my son to check out some sites in Cebu City. We had the chance to visit the old Jesuit House in the Parian district. It was quite an eye-opener. The current owner is currently making use of the ground floor as a warehouse but when a son found out that their warehouse had been the Jesuit House, they made an effort to preserve the house and made a museum as well. Our guide, Christian, gave us a birds-eye of the history of the house and toured as around the museum which was air-conditioned and still in good shape. All in all, quite an interesting find!
