We spent holy week (2016) in this hotel for 3days 2nights. My husband wanted to stay in a hotel with parking area just within Baguio proper. This hotel is perfect location wise. Just across Session Rd where theres a lot of food establishments. We arrived late due to heavy traffic. I have listed the good and opportunities of this hotel. Please refer to the details below.

Good:
1. good location
2. active contact lines even facebook
3. with free breakfast even for kids
4.comfy beddings
5. with complimentary water and snacks everyday
6. accommodating staffs

Opportunities:
1. you have to ask for their assistance when going to the basement parking (like their password is needed)
2. on and off internet connect at the lobby area
3. no wifi inside the room
4. water supply is poor
5. same breakfast menu ( no variety)
6. rooms, hallway and lobby needs repaint
7.remote of the tv not working
8. lights are dim
9. slow elevator since basement area needs code

I stayed in Prime Hotel several times before, mostly alone when I need peace and quiet and sometimes with my husband on our anniversaries. This is also where we went to for our honeymoon in 2009. What I love about this place is their proximity to everything. There's an acoustic bar just by crossing the street, jollibee right beside the lobby area, a grocery in the basement of the building, greenwich pizza just a few steps away and so on... and when you reach your hotel room.. there.. total peace and quiet. I also tried their room with the balcony without ac and it was still great ecen with just the fan. Baguio aint Baguio without the cool breeze so either way, I still loved it.

I went to Baguio last Monday morning and was only planning to get everything done for my wedding plans within the day and go home before night fall. But it was indeed a hectic day filled with meetings and ocular visits so we didn't manage to home. As I was travelling with my manila based stylist, we covered everything from church to flowers to reception. We were way too tired to travel back to manila and at 9pm, we were getting very cold and very hungry. So we found ourselves on Session looking at a building that was right at the middle of it all.

Prime Hotel is not for the fancy hotel hoppers. It is old but the staff were very friendly. This hotel offers what you essentially need. The beds are just right for a comfortable sleep. The room comes with basic toiletries. They have cable and wifi. And the P1750 rate for 2 comes with free breakfast.

Overall it's a satisfying stay. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a balcony and a view of Session Road. I would recommend this for those who go to Baguio on a whim. It's a safe and secured area and only about 10 minutes away from the bus station by taxi and only 5 minute walk to the market.

A little interior and exterior repainting would make it more appealing. Otherwise, I can't complain.

I took this token picture of the view outside our window around 6am.
