Turquoise, crystal-clear water, warm as in a bathtub, white sand beaches, palm trees packed with coconuts. In a nutshell, paradise.
The accommodation in huts is very simple, sand floor, simple beds. Our hut featured hooks to hang your mosquito net (not provided), although we didn't need the net. They are adding new huts with elevated, concrete floors and a wooden veranda.
The fish, shrimp, mambas and lobster is freshly caught and tastes really nice.
No need to bring bottled water, you can buy it at the bar, as you can buy soft drinks and juices, beer and wine.
The service is poor, some staff is friendly, but ordering food is a challenge: the staff speaks only little spanish, even less english. Communication is difficult, so ask twice to be on the safe side.
The toilets should be cleaned more often.
The beach is cleaned regularly, you can contribute your part by taking your garbage (e.g. water bottles) back with you.
