After traveling through Panama for a couple of weeks and spending much time in cramped hotel rooms, we were happy to find Los Pinos. Located on a side street toward the back end of Boquete, Los Pinos is a small condo/apartment complex sitting among an amazing flower garden.
Our unit had a small living area, kitchen and dining room, two full baths, and a bedroom with two beds upstairs and a second bedroom with bunk beds downstairs. While the kitchen utensils are somewhat limited and not really suitable for cooking large meals, we welcomed the availability of a fridge, coffee maker and dishes.
The units, serviced every day by Hector who multitasks as gardener and maid, are kept immaculate. Yes, the kitchen counter is banged up a bit, the faucets worn out, but overall Los Pinos offers a great value. We received a rebate staying a minimum of three nights. We slept extremely well here, because the only sound we heard was the wind.
Yet, you can easily walk to downtown Boquete in five minutes and on sidewalks. If you need a bit of space to stretch out, Los Pinos is a good choice.
