Simply Perfect

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 Sept 2016
The location is incredibly beautiful, the waterfalls impressive, the cabin outstanding and the walk back from town at night, magic. Wendy is the perfect hostess for the perfect place. The cabin is clean and with all the amenities that you would expect in the middle of nowhere. Personally I felt at home.

Thanks so much.

The cabin is gorgeous. The waterfalls are so close, led by a beautiful hike.
The fireflies that come out at night are particularly charming. It was so peaceful and I find it to be one of the best spots to stay in Panama. Definitely going back, and Wendy is an amazing human, she's the best!

I spent two night alone here. Was exactly what I needed... A remote escape from civilization in a lush forest, near some amazing hikes. Wendy was very communicative, the dudes who drove me were great, and Rocky the dog guided me along the trails.

This cabin is great for those looking to get into nature. Wendy and the guys are awesome; the best hospitality we had on our trip. The views at the cabin and during the hike were some of the best of my trip. The cabin itself is comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. There is running water, a grill, and stove top. There isn't electricity, but there a large supply of lanterns and flashlights ready for you. I highly recommend staying here during your time in Boquete. You will not be disappointed!

I was able to stay for a night at the cabin at the 3 Lost Waterfalls in Boquetê and I will say, one night was certainly not long enough. From the moment you get to the ridge where it is perfectly perched you are immediately struck by the beauty that is before you.

The hike of the 3 waterfalls is truly a must do! The trails are very well maintained while still giving you the full feel that you are in the middle of a jungle. The waterfalls are spectacular and immaculately clean. The water is very inviting and swimmable however a bit chilly if it’s not a sunny day to warm you up.

The cabin was clean, tastefully furnished, and cozy. The beds had soft sheets and I slept soundly, lulled to sleep by the sounds of birds chirping and rain pattering down. There is running water in the cabin and gas burners for the stove as well as a grill.

As incredible as the cabin is by itself the staff were what made the trip over everything else! Wendy really went out of her way to help out with anything and everything that she could. I decided to stay at the cabin last minute (within 24 hours of arriving) and she bent over backwards to ensure everything was in order for my arrival and that it was as easy and effortless for me as possible. Eleazar and Papio were phenomenal, genuinely kind, and were more then happy to answer any and all questions that I had. Finally I can’t forget about Rocky the Dog, the property’s fearless protector. He was a sweetheart and kept me company for the duration of my stay. It took every fiber of my being to not take him home with me.

Overall I would strongly recommend lodging here for anyone during their Boquetê visit if you are looking for a truly relaxing experience with one hell of a view!

Thank Aaron H

A beautiful cabin high above Boquete. From the parking area, about 20-30 minutes to cabin depending on your fitness level. I am 60 years old, not in the best shape but enjoyed the cabin. Wendy, the owner, is very helpful. She met in town so I could follow her to the cabin. She has a caretaker who lives in a nearby cabin with a wife and son. They will help with baggage, brought me ice every day and even lit the little torches to light the path to the bathroom. There is a small kitchen area with sink and stove top for cooking. There is a gas grill on the porch. The hiking trail starts right behind the cabin. Although I visited during the rainy season, the mornings were clear. The rain would come late in the afternoon, leaving plenty time for hiking. Sitting on the porch, the birds were incredible. It was so nice to get out of town and be in this beautiful area. The caretakers work hard maintaining the trail to the 3 waterfalls. Don't miss staying here!
