Beautiful location, stunning views, hot tub and fire! Fueled by a great breakfast provided daily, we remote worked from the space in the mornings and went hiking in the afternoon. Filled with loads of natural daylight, it was a joy to be here and just enjoy the day.
These casitas are very cozy and comfortable with great views. The beds were very comfortable and it’s an easy drive to the downtown area of Boquete. The outdoor hot tubs were my personal favorite part. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Boquete for multiple nights.
Best sleep in our 10 day journey throughout Bocas del Toro and Chiriqui. We were greeted by the host and felt right at home in this clean and modern 2 bedroom cabin, which has all that we need for the kitchen (cooking supplies, breakfast delivered every morning, marshmallows for smores + lots of Finca Panda coffee), living room (tv, games), bedrooms (comfy beds/pillows, spacious, several outlets, tv), dining area (table with chairs). There was even a ukulele hanging next to the tv. The cooler weather made it even more ideal after humid conditions down the mountain. It is private away from the other cabins and the views of Volcano Baru are extraordinary - sunrise and sunset are very picture worthy. The deck was the biggest draw, especially for the kids - with a jacuzzi, chaise and living area around a fire pit, with the abundance of trees for the birdwatcher. Will definitely return, hopefully soon.
These casitas are quality construction and are nicely decorated. They are positioned to offer each casita privacy with views of the mountains. The facility is gated and has a lovely well maintained entrance to the casitas. Breakfast is brought to your room and is a plentiful assortment of cheese, charcuterie, fruit, pastry. Our unit had a much appreciated washer and dryer and a functioning septic system both of which can be hard to find in Panama. The kitchen has decent quality pots and the bedding is nice. The hot tub was lovely as the weather was rainy and cold. Overall a higher standard than most places in Panama. Our only small thing is that the casita got a bit cold and a small space heater to take the edge off would have helped. We didn’t think to ask but the owners may have had one.
I want to recommend ‘Finca Panda’ as a spectacular place to stay. We stayed in the ‘Geisha’ luxury casita. It is just beautiful! Very comfortable, very clean & the views over the distant hills is just mesmerizing. Our first night we saw a few rainbows. We soon learned that this was a common occurrence at this time of year & we saw rainbows everyday! (It is very misty in Boquete!). There is a gas fire pit and a wonderful sunken jacuzzi on the deck. It is chilly (and windy!) up on the mountain, so pack a few warmer layers. There is a wall of windows facing the view… including in the spectacular bathroom (two huge shower heads!). No need to worry about voyeurs… Geisha is especially private, which we loved.
Communication w/ hosts was seamless, via ‘WhatsApp’. And the breakfast was delicious, delivered daily & left in a basket outside our door, for additional privacy.
Now the coffee… Finca Panda is a coffee plantation. Their product is DELICIOUS! They grow & roast single varietal ‘Caturra’ coffee beans. They provide samples of each grade available to brew in the casita, plus a big pot at breakfast. We bought beans to bring home and are sad we missed a tour of the plantation, due to a medical event my husband experienced down in town.
