No patty and no pie, it’s burgers and pizza.
We decided to check it out based on the positive reviews on Tripadviser. The restaurant is located in a typical unprepossessing Malaysian side street, with several stray dogs sleeping outside and strewn rubbish.
The menus were greasy, dog eared and dusty – not a good start.
We ordered a burger and a pizza; no bottled beer, only soft drinks.
I thought that the prices were in the expensive side, considering the location. Worse, the portions were small – small burger and a measly portion of fries, no other garnishing; small pizza. When we got back to the hotel, we were hungry again. The pizza was fine with a thin crust, the burger was okay, nothing terrific. My impression is that they are trying to be creative with their offerings.
The place was practically empty with more staff than diners. A girl came in and started soliciting for some charity.
On the pro side, there is a wood-fired pizza oven.
No credit card facilities.
We would have been better off dining in the hotel or the nearby mall. Will not be back.
