Sandwiched in between some shops nestled Up and Above.
Nice ambience and we were seated upstairs in a private room which makes dining on that evening even more special.

The choices of dishes in the menu are well described and an extra bonus was the set - choice of main with soup / salad / appertizer and dessert reasonably priced and portioned- not too much nor too little.

Food presentation is good and so is the taste. The braised pork cheek is highly recommended.

The lobster spaghetti was a little bit ordinary though...

Overall, a worthwhile dining experience making the evening out with friends enjoyable.

We will be back...

Went for the 2nd time last week and again had an excellent meal, the four course set meal was a perfect combination, both my guest and I thoroughly enjoyed.

Great fine dining standard food but not pretentious, good wines to match and charming attentive staff. Well worth a visit for a special ocassion or just to indulger yourself!

This is the place where you can get delicious European food in the Penang town area. I went there several time for dinner and never get disappointed. The highlight was the New Year eve wine pairing menu designed by the owner and chef - Thomas, it was truly unique 7 course menu paired with wine.

I enjoy the atmosphere, food quality is top notch and price is affordable for a proper dining. The portion is suitable for me. But if you are looking for big portion, perhaps you can make a remark while ordering. Folks, worth to give it a try!

Up and Above served us several times excellent food at very reasonable prices. A 5 course meals starts from MR 80 or so but you can also indulge in one of their more pricier choices. My friends told me the Wagyu beef was very good indeed.

With the personal touch of Thomas, the chef and owner, a great dining night is assured and we look forward to the wine tasting menu for New Years Eve.

Highly recommended!
