We stayed here for two nights whilst on a 6 day safari. The room is quite basic with not many home comforts but is a good base and more than adequate for a two night stay. We had a view overlooking the Samburu National Reserve and saw elephants feeding from our balcony, we also had a window in the shower so we could also watch them as we showered. There is a water hole where a hippo and croc live but that is up by the bar area & restaurant. The food was surprisingly good and we were welcome to a three course meal for lunch and dinner. Breakfast wasn't quite as exciting but again was adequate.
In the evening the lighting is very subdued along the paths but torches are supplied to help you find your way, we met a baboon on the path during the daytime but a small stone thrown in it's direction made it retreat (thankfully).
We Spent an afternnon by the pool which was lovely and were treated to the elephants wandering down to the water hole, it was quite surreal watching elephants whilst swimming in the pool!
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
