Reviewed 21 August 2017

We stayed here twice before and after our trip to Miyakojima. We were attracted by its relatively low price and location. The hotel is right next to Azato station and literally on the track line. When we booked, it still belonged to the Best Western group but it changed hands in April, making us a bit confused when we arrived at its door. This is our first time in Naha and we were very disappointed with the city which was completely overwhelmed by mainly Asian tourists (more Chinese spoken on Kokusai dori than Japanese). The hotel also caters to a few tour groups making the lobby and corridors quite noisy at times. Try to choose a room at the back of the hotel as the main road is quite noisy . Final piece of advice - don't stay in Naha unless you are here to change flights to go to the islands. It is too commercial, touristy and pricey. You will find yourself spending half the money in Miyakojima for twice the quality. (See my separate review)

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel away from the main road are quieter

A typical Japanese business hotel that is conveniently located. Though the room is a bit small for a couple of two, it is alright for us as we just looked for place to take shower and have a good sleep. The breakfast is quite alright though one could not expect too much to choose for. Easily access by monorail and walking distance to tourist shopping and dining areas. There is a supermarket that open 24-hour right opposite to the hotel. The reception was very helpful as we made all of our bookings for dining (lunches and dinners) through them.

Monorail will take you from the airport and drop you on the doorstep at Asato Station. Can easily walk to Kokusai Dori in 8 minutes. Walk to the Perfecture Museum and gigantic shopping mall of Naha Main Place in 15-20 minutes. Only one meal served, breakfast for $7....average. Employees are very courteous. Rooms very modern and always clean. Hundred places to eat in this area.

The reception was helpful. Room is relatively small for two person, but clean and tidy. Not far from a shopping area with food, and few steps from the Asato station. Only draw back is the room is next to the road, can be really noisy. Recommended for the price.

This is my second time staying at a best western in Japan and I found it to be pretty consistent, clean with standard amenity of a Japanese business hotel - toiletry, slipper, robe, tea/coffee and etc. Buffet breakfast is decent and there's free coffee for guests. Location is convenient; about 5 mins walk to Kokusai street, rail stop is right outside the hotel, a coco convenience store is downstairs.
