On a corner at Nara sits an unpretentious restaurant serving just okanomiyaki. We had been told we had to try the dish and were not disappointed. I had a prawn one, my husband "pork' which was bacon. Cabbage, noodles, egg and other ingredients were piled up on noodles and the whole put on a hotplate on our table. It was an interesting dish, served with a glass of wine and reasonably priced. Well worth trying.

On cold evening, nothing beats having a delicious meal in a warm, cozy, family type restaurant. We had the Ika-tama (squid) and the mochi, mozeralla cheese & mentako okonomi-yaki. Both were delicious.

Looks like a “hole in the wall” from the outside but a very nice, cosy restaurant with beautiful Okinomiyaki and extremely friendly and attentive staff. We also had the wagyu (4600 for 200g) and it was well worth the price. Family friendly (high chair available). English menu and English speaking chef. Would highly recommend.

Visited Parco based on Tripadvisor recomendations. Had okonomiyaki once before during a food tour in Tokyo, so i knew what to expect.

There’s an English menu available which made ordering easy. I had a lime ‘cocktail’ and the ebi-sam okonomiyaki, both were really yummy! Aside from okonomiyaki they offer some side dishes. The owner and (assuming) his wife were really friendly.

Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try okonomiyaki.

We wanted something quick, easy and close to our hotel, and decided to give Parco a try. We found the okonomiyaki to be very good, the yakisoba a little heavy. The edamame and potato wedges we had as appetisers were tasty too.

We made sure that the waitress understood no meat or fish for the vegetarian in our group, and the order came out fine. Prices were good, the owner came to have a chat with us (via the wonders of google translate).

Thoroughly recommended!
