On a corner at Nara sits an unpretentious restaurant serving just okanomiyaki. We had been told we had to try the dish and were not disappointed. I had a prawn one, my husband "pork' which was bacon. Cabbage, noodles, egg and other ingredients were piled up on noodles and the whole put on a hotplate on our table. It was an interesting dish, served with a glass of wine and reasonably priced. Well worth trying.
