We stayed at 2 bedroom villa, just more than 2mil dong per day, but big living room & kitchen with all kinds of utensils, nice balcony. Cute mini swimming pool.
However, dont offer pho in your breakfast menu and buy outside for guests, it really sucks. I think the food which the resort makes is good enough.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while passing through Mui Ne. Shades Resort was excellent. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The view of the sea was perfect with plenty of places to relax and enjoy the scenery. I only wish we could have spent more time here.

The staff are so friendly at Shades, although not all of them speak English. Special thanks to Phi and Bhin who took good care of us.

We originally booked for 11 nights and had to change our dates and the owner was very accommodating. We stayed in room 6 which is a good size room with a massive balcony that has a table and chairs and two sun loungers on it. The views are of the sea and I never got fed up of listening to the sea; it was lovely going to sleep hearing the waves and waking up to them again after a good nights sleep. It was also good to sit on the balcony watching the many kite surfers go by.

Breakfast consists of fresh bread, jams, fresh fruit and cereal. You can then choose either bacon and eggs any style, banana pancake or Pho Bo. I choose Pho Bo most mornings as it was so tasty and sets you up for the rest of the day. My wife had either pancakes or eggs and bacon (they must use at least 3 eggs in the omelette and scrambled eggs as there is so much of it). You can also order Vietnamise iced coffee. All this set us up for the day and we didn't need to eat till the evening.

Phi recommended several restaurants to us which were all fantastic. There are a number of restaurants just outside the hotel, but for 30,000 dong you can get to either end of Mui Ne in a taxi.

Phi organised a trip to the sand dunes, fairy stream and fishermans market and also went out to buy our train tickets to Ho Chi Ming.

What makes this hotel (besides the staff) is the relaxing atmosphere and the views.

I would highly recommend a stay and it is worth paying a little more for one of the rooms facing the sea as you have a large balcony to retreat to when the sun is too hot.

Room Tip: Pay a little more for a room facing the sea.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel. The room that we had (room 7) is clean, comfortable and spacious. All the staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Breakfast is a choice of Vietnamese noodles or the standard bread, butter, jam, eggs, bacon, juices, coffee, etc.

Binh helped us to arrange a jeep tour to the sand dunes, fishing village and fairy stream on our arrival.

This hotel is on the main road in Mui Ne and there are restaurants on both the left and right of the hotel. Bo Ke (BBQ) restaurants are easy few minutes walk away. There are also few massage places nearby.

We would return to this hotel if we are in Mui Ne again.

Originally booked for 3 nights. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially for food recommendations. Our room was lovely, clean & spacious. Quiet despite being near the road. Sun terrace excellent with loungers & hammocks. Breakfast great quality. Drinks available all day. Highly recommended.
