Have driven by Zakura for 20 years are more and never visited until a few weeks ago. Very nice, well priced fresh sushi. One side of restaurant features large saltwater fish tanks. The other side features tatami-esque tables.

We went early so there were a number of families with pre-teen children but noise was low and had a pleasant experience.

Give it a try.

This restaurant has improved since I last visited. The sushi is good and fresh with a nice variety. The rolls are average, most have a mayonnaise sauce added, which they call a spicy sauce. I would prefer rolls with less rice, the rice was good, but too much. I did find one roll, with eel, wrapped in tuna which was tasty. The eel sushi was very good, average size. Prices are on the high/average end. Service is good. A salt water fish tank, spans the restaurant creating an inviting atmosphere. Quiet place, we had a lovely evening.

Stopped going to this place for a number of years and then heard that it had now owners or management. Don't know if that's true, but the Sushi is much improved. Had a lovely dinner there and will certainly return.

I've been eating here for a few years now and the food is consistent. I always order sushi and I've never been disappointed. The chefs are wiling to make substitutions which is nice, and the food never takes too long. The servers are nice, but not as friendly and willing to carry out a conversation as servers in other places. So don't expect to feel like you got to know your server or that they went over the top for you. I come for the food, not the service. It's a pretty popular place for locals too!

Food was re-heated. The tempura was uneatable. The chicken teriyaki was terrible: hard and dry. The white wine glass (chardonay) smelled like vinager. We asked to change it for a beer and what a surprise when we see the glass of wine not excluded from the invoice. An incredible nightmare.
