I booked a room at this hotel via booking.com, where the cancellation policy (on the website and in my confirmation email) clearly stated that the reservation could be cancelled for free up to “3 days before arrival.” I cancelled on booking.com 5 days before arrival and on the same day the hotel charged me for one night. My cancellation email confirmed that I would not be charged and explained that I could contact the hotel directly if my refund was not automatically issued. When I followed up with the Sales Manager, she repeatedly refused to honor that stated policy. I wonder what other policies they conveniently ignore.
