I have travelled to 35+ countries and thus stayed at several hotels over that time. With that said, Nalan and the staff at Tekkaya were some of the most helpful and friendly that I have ever met! They helped book transfers, woke up at 4:00am for our wake for our balloon ride and consistently brought us towels and drinks while enjoying the pool. The rooms (great beds), restaurant and pool were also very nice. And all at a really good price as well!

Incredibly friendly staff, great service, great breakfast and the front desk staff were very helpful in setting up tours. Highly recommend staying here.
Pool to cool off in, got the standard room which came with aircon which is a must in the summer months.

We spent 3 nights in Tekkaya in the beginning of June and couldn't be any happier! Special thanks to Nalan and Deepen and everybody else whose names I couldn't get. They made it more of a family experience. We arrived with an early flight and were not expecting to have our room until the afternoon but they got it ready asap and in the meantime we had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant. You mention something - you get it, be it to move your table to the terrace which is not set up yet or your breakfast the way your grandmother made it - no need to ask. The view is spectacular and on top of the restaurant there's another terrace from where you can see all of Göreme far away till the Rose Valley. Early morning the hot air balloons are all around you - magical!

Our room was very cosy, partially built into the rock and you get a real cave design - don't get fooled by some new hotels which call themselves "Cave" but have no piece of rock around them. My girlfriend loved some small things like the shampoo.

The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. So many things to see and Nalan and Deepen were super helpful with arranging last minute tours for us. We walked to the Göreme Open Air Museum and after that rode quad bikes to many of the picturesque places around - just make sure your bike is in good shape. Nalan was very helpful finding spots for us on a balloon. Don't hesitate to spend your money on that, seeing the area from above is another thing. We also signed up for a tour that included Derinkuyu underground city and Ihlara Valley - such a beautiful place. Our guide Ergün was No1 - we just got so lucky having him.

I chose Tekkaya Cave Hotel among other similar options based on reviews and was absolutely charmed. I've recommended it to friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to go back in future.

We actually stayed in a cave room. Its design was authentic and it smelled heavenly.
The Wi-Fi connection worked the first day not the following 3 days. We had to go to the restaurant or the reception to connect.
People are fun and very friendly.
The food was 4/10, they could do better. We had a takeaway pack on our last day for breakfast. There was a worm in a fruit and the other fruit wasn't ripe and the coffee was too hot to carry in the bus.

The location and the view were perfect and the tours/activities were very well planned by the hotel management.
