We went just for weekend. Hotel is perfect. Employees always very kind to you, try to help you. Rooms are clean and good decorated. Also it is in the center of the city, you can go whatever you want. Also the breakfast is good. I definetly come back :)

We booked a night in the Anzac hotel to be able to see Anzac Cove. Upon arriving at the ferry port by bus from Konya, we saw the large neon sign of the Anzac hotel and had no hesitation of where we needed to go. Upon arriving at the Anzac, we were told we were upgraded to their newer hotel, the Grand Anzac.
We were escorted around the corner, onto a quieter street where we were checked in. The staff were very helpful - calling up our tour company to inform them that we had changed hotels and confirmed our places on the tour.
There are two kinds of hotels in the price range we stay at, simple hotels, it has everything, but the rooms are rather impersonal, or then there are the B&B types where its more homely. Grand Anzac is the former, however, the service provided would be more like that latter. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. There was even a balcony connected to our room which we never used.
A slightly annoying thing was the lighting in the hallways. These are sensor light fittings, but seem to turn off very quickly with no movement - such as when you're trying to open the door!
Breakfast was presented well with a good variety of food (for a turkish breakfast).

The room was a reasonable size and was very clean, but it was very bland. There was no table and chairs and no jug to make tea. When I rang reception, they could not provide a kettle, but brought up two glasses of hot water. There was a small complimentary tray of fruit which was nice. We also made good use of the free wifi.
We were concerned that the bed cover was smaller than the bed, but as it turned out it didn't matter because the room is nice and warm at night. I noticed that there was an air conditioner, which I think would be necessary in summer. We have found most beds in Turkey quite hard, but this one was the hardest yet.
The front desk booked a tour for us to Gallipoli, which was great.
The Grand Anzac is very near the ferry terminal / bus station, but due to the roadworks we had difficulty finding it. It is right by clock tower a short way down the first lane way on the right as you head up the main road.

We had booked the ANZAC hotel and were upgraded on arrival to the Grand Anzac Hotel. The Anzac hotel was very easy to find from the ferry terminal - there is a massiv neon sign on the wall of the building, and it is a few minutes walk. The Grand Anzac was great - breakfast was good - in fact our only breakfast in Turkey which included fresh fruit. Very comfortable rooms and the hotel organized our tours for us as well.

We stayed here in September only for one night to go to Gallipoli. From the very start of our booking we found Yusuf exteremely helpful. We booked a car and day trip to gallipoli through the hotel and things went smoothly. We thank Yusuf greatly for his services, as it was difficult to book a car to pick up from Canakkale on the internet. Most rent a car services will charge a drop off fee and really only cater for rentals from Istanbul or bigger cities. We had the car for 12 days and dropped it off at Antalya with a fairly casual arrangement. But it worked and no drop off fees!
The hotel was clean and was a snug fit for 4 but fine for one night. The breakfast gave a good selection. Great location.
