Very comfortable hotel with an amazing outdoor restaurant overlooking the sea and the town at the side. Good quality buffet and lots of it. Friendly staff. We had no complaints and only wish we had longer to stay there.

Maybe the Korumar was once 5 star but not any more.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in early October as it's in a good location for visiting Ephesus. The room we had was clean, comfortable and well appointed, as was the bathroom, but it had frankly seen better days and is in need of a bit of a facelift. Also it was facing inland which was our own fault but we would certainly pay extra for the beautiful sea views if there's a next time.

Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and the bay was an utter joy, as was the dinner buffet for the nighttime view. The food was pretty good too; a great variety all fresh and tasty and the house Turkish wines were perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. Although oddly the second and subsequent glasses were filled up more for the same price.

The staff were efficient and always delivered what was asked for, but it wasn't exactly "service with a smile"; perhaps they were just a bit jaded at the end of the season but it would have been nice if it looked like they cared.

Lastly, the fixed price taxi deal of TL15 to the centre of town isn't such a great bargain as I got a taxi from the ferry terminal at the far end of town up to the Korumar and the metered fare from there was only TL14.80.

Me and my family stayed here for a week in October 2015. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful, especially the poolside attendant and reception staff. The food was incredible, especially at the evenings. A lot of effort is obviously made with the quality and selection of the food and it shows. Whole grilled sea breams on a lunch buffet and slow roasted lamb in the evenings, it was in a class of its own.

After reading some reviews, I expected the interior to be drab but actually found the rooms and bars to be decorated and furnished to quite a modern style.

The view from our sea view room was one of the best views from a room we have had. The entire hotel makes the most of it's position with almost all public spaces and bars looking over the ocean.

The rooms were lovely and clean and has nice little balconies.

The only thing I would recommend would be that the orange juice in the mornings is fresh and not the concentrated powder kind. It's just one of those small things that adds that extra touch.

Thank you for a brilliant holiday Korumar.

The location, on a cliff overlooking the Aegean, is excellent. The rooms and interior have a somewhat tired look and could use updating. The room size was adequate and bath was OK, though smallish.
The pool and access to the sea are very good features. There is no beach at this hotel, only a pier over the sea that is large enough to sunbathe and for diving into the water.
The buffet for breakfast and dinner were outstanding. They have a very wide variety of hot and cold entrees and meze to choose from. The dining terrace and room both overlook the sea for excellent sunset watching.
Staff are helpful and friendly.
The hotel is about 1km from Kusadasi town center though there is a mini bus that passes in front of the hotel to town.

We have just come back from our second visit to the Korumar after a six year gap and were not disappointed. It was as if we had never been away. The staff make the hotel and the welcome and service they gave was second to none. We again, choose a land view rather than a sea view and the standard of the room remains the same. The view at dawn is magnificent. The pool was clean and well looked after and the Pool man, sorry cannot remember your name, was always on hand to get you anything you required always smiling and chatty. The Terrace bar was a lovely place to sit as the sun went down and one young waitress always had our drinks ready despite the bar being crowded. The food buffet was always varied and the A La Carte, Meat or Fish was a new experience and although not 5 star by UK Standards it was well presented and the staff again, very attentive. Although the décor was a bit dated and the hairdryer was a bit 1970s this did not distract from our enjoyment. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday Korumar carry on like this and we will be back!

Room Tip: Sea views cost extra but dawn from the land view rooms are just as nice and you don't overlook the bar and restaurant
