1st time to this hotel, go home tomorrow and cam honestly say we have had the best time. The rooms are clean and tidy, had cleaners everyday, lovely ladies. The food is fab, not loads of choice but we have not eaten out once as every meal has been delicious. The pool areas are fantastic and it's great that there is a choice of a relaxed pool or the kids/louder pool. And the thing that makes the hotel 1 of the best I have stayed is definitely the staff.. each and every 1 of them is friendly and can't do enough for u. We have had an amazing time and will be sad to leave x

We stayed from the 8th of September for a week .... this was our 2nd visit this year!
There is always a warm friendly welcome. Have never stayed anywhere that has such a friendly team of staff. We have noticed that there has been some improvements made, more decking round the pool, more canopies to sit under if you want some shade ....all looks lovely. We had a room looking out over the pool and the views are fantastic, some beautiful sunsets! The rooms are cleaned & fresh towels every day. All the meals are fresh & plenty of choice....I can be a little fussy but never struggle here. Everyone works so hard to make sure you have a great holiday. This was our 3rd visit & for the first time I had to mention that the hairdryer was not working, It was sorted out instantly ! Can't ask for better than that....We are already looking to come back as we just love it here.....A huge WELL DONE to every member of staff at the Lion ...Hope to see you all next year....Allan & Deborah Turner

Room Tip: Top floor is good, rooms facing the pool get to see some lovely sunsets.

I live close to this hotel and had friends from UK staying there, so it was my first experience of it. They were very happy and thought it was good value for money. The first thing without doubt is the friendly, smiling staff, from Yalcin the hotel manager, to Sean the barman, the reception personnel, maids and not forgetting Tayfon who made a Bloody Mary to die for
This hotel is well run, clean and within budget. Infact, their food and drink prices were no different, if indeed less than any local bar or restaurant.
They have 2 beautiful swimming pools, on 2 levels and a small one for the little folk. Sunbeds didn't appear to be an issue. They have a variety of evening entertainment for those who wish to remain in the hotel, anything from a singer to a circus act, to competitions or other performances.
The hotel is situated between the beautiful Ladies Beach, with all it's lovely restaurants, and the town with it's fantastic shopping. Both within walking distance, maybe 20mins, or a bus for 40pence. A taxi rank outside the hotel and a taxi will cost about £1-50 to £2. There is also a very friendly little shop across the road for any other needs. It opens early till LATE, and stocks most things!
Finally, THE FOOD WAS HOT! Usually a problem with Turkish hotels, and a big grievance with me. I hate a hot meal served at room temperature. YUK!
