“Stunning Villa in outstanding location”

Costa made all the arrangements extremely easy and was a pleasure to deal with. The villa is beautifully positioned with gorgeous views over the sea. Well arranged over 2 floors, it is open plan in style and well appointed. Everything you need is provided and Ramazan and Alison are extremely anxious to help make your holiday enjoyable. None of us who went could remember such a relaxing and hassle free holiday in such beautiful surroundings. The pool is lovely to swim in with an "infinity" end allowing uninterrupted view to the sea. Kas itself is lovely and a short drive away. We would happily return.

“Best girls holiday...”

First of all, the whole process of booking this villa and planning the holiday was made so easy and enjoyable by Costa. He was so helpful, answered all my annoying questions and gave some great suggestions. Villa Pinara itself is just amazing, incredible views, gorgeous sunsets, clean and very spacious villa - and the welcome pack was very well received when we arrived at gone midnight. You really do have everything you need in this villa. We hired 2 cars and drove from Dalaman airport. It’s a long drive but so simple, even for 7 girls :)

Ramazam comes every day to clean the pool, and also brings fresh bread! Our second night we were having a BBQ which he came back to help us light, and ended up cooking for us! It was delicious and completely unexpected.

We unfortunately had a couple of days of cloud, but this only meant we got to venture more into Kas in the day. Beautiful little town, such friendly people with some amazing restaurants. Highly recommend a day out on Tia private boat. Family run and a hilarious day out. The bag shops are great!! Kasim restaurant for a mezze lunch is incredible and very cheap!! We had our best meal at Hotel Cachet which you can walk to from the villa.

I have serious holiday blues from a fantastic time in Kas and a perfect stay in Villa Pinara. Thank you Costa for helping us organise a fabulous holiday!

“Second stay at Pinara - perfect again!”
Reviewed 31 January 2014 for a stay in September 2013

We returned to Villa Pinara after having a great stay last year. (see earlier review) The location of Pinara is ideal. The peninsula is about ten minutes drive from Kas or, the bus will stop right outside the villa (you flag it down) and is bang on time every half hour. So if you want to get into town in the evening it couldnt be easier. Apart from the bus, the road is extremely quiet so no traffic noise.
Buses back from Kas town run until 12 midnight and after that, taxis are plentiful and its a set fare to the Peninsula (I think £5 - £7.)
The villa is beautiful and immaculate. Its very clean with all amenities, microwave dishwasher washing machine. The pool is an infinity pool with views out over the sea. The pool furniture had been renewed and looked great - nice quality wooden table and chairs.
We used the barbecue a lot - and you can either eat fully oudoors by the pool or there is a covered area with a larger dining table right by the barbecue. There is a great butcher in town for meat - or several fresh fish shops with that days catch ( as well as a few fair sized supermarkets)
Ramzan the gardener at the villa comes every day to maintain the pool and the garden - he drops off fresh bread every morning and is extremely helpful if you need anything.
There are 3 bedrooms in the villa - all spacious with built in wardrobes and drawers. There are also sofa beds in the lounge two upstairs bathrooms and one downstairs.. There were only two of us so there was loads of space but Im sure itd be fine for 6 or 8.
Also - dealing with Costa the owner is a pleasure - he is so helpful and it makes the booking process easy and straightforward. He can also recommend local companies for car hire, airport transfer etc - who are good value and reliable.
Kas itself is a very picturesque and buzzing town. Lots of good quality bars and restaurants to choose from - and a couple of late venues if you want them - however, its generally a laid back low key atmosphere rather than a party town. Everyone is very friendly and charming.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Liked best: The villa itself is just beautiful - and Kas town is a favourite location
Liked least: Two hours drive from the airport - but it keeps an exclusive feel to the area.

“Beautiful villa, great situation, very well maintained with everything you would need.”

We stayed here for a week in September 2012 and it was just delightful.
The villa was exactly how it looked on the pictures and everything was there that we needed.
The place was immaculate when we arrived and the gardener Ramazam came every day to make sure the pool and garden were kept perfect ( tho we hardly saw him - he's very discreet.) He also brings fresh bread every morning which was a nice touch.
The pool area and barbecue are just lovely and the barbecue was great to use. There's a dining area which is outside but under cover (nice dining table and chairs) ideal either in the heat of the day or one evening when it was a little windy. There's also a separate little round table and chairs with a parasol if you want to sit in the sun as you barbecue.
There were only 2 of us so we only used the main bedroom but all the bedrooms are a good size similar to hotel rooms with plentiful drawer and wardrobe space in each. There are 2 double rooms ( 1 en suite) and a twin room upstairs (with a separate bathroom.) the air con is very effective and cooled the room within 5 mins of being turned on.
We found everything we needed was in the kitchen. There was even a huge bottle of water with a pump which was ideal for washing salads fruit etc.
The villa is very well situated close to the sea but very conveniently, right by the road where you catch the very reliable twice an hour bus into town. The drive or bus into town is about ten minutes and the bus runs back until midnight (approx 70p per person, each way). You van pick this up right outside the villa, and similarly dropped off. After that, a taxi costs around £7 ( it's a flat rate so no need for negotiation etc.)
The town itself is beautiful with a wide array of bars and very good retaurants. Plenty to do but all very relaxed and charming and there were good lively bars - there were no rowdy groups. Just a nice buzzy atmosphere.
The villa is quite close to other properties ( we looked on google earth before going) but in reality no adjoining property overlooks the villa. the pool area is perfectly quiet throughout the day and feels very private and secluded.
The booking process with the owner was extremely easy. he couldn't have been more helpful and charming. He advised on transfers and hire cars etc and offered to set it all up for us. Usefully, the hire car co ( who also collected us from Dalaman) knew the villa well so no need to worry about getting there.
This was our first vist to Kas and we were utterly enchanted with the town and the villa.
We will be reserving again for the same week next year.
Even after looking around the peninsula and the town, we will be looking to stay in Villa Pinara again - it was one of the few holidays where everything just seemed to go like clockwork!

“Rest and relaxation in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 28 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

Villa Pinara is a relatively spacious villa on the lovely quiet Kas peninsula in Turkey. We can overall say that we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Pinara and would recommend it to others. It was a very restful and enjoyable holiday which we both really needed. The area is lovely, the people surprisingly warm and helpful and the traffic safe and light. Whilst relaxing at the villa we particularly loved the infinity pool with spectacular gardens and the amazing view over the sea across the islands especially in the evening. Ramazan the gardener and pool technician brings fresh bread every day and this really is a nice touch. The villa is in a lovely quiet setting and the relatively close proximity of several other villas actually doesn't cause much of an intrusion which was a relief.

Reviewing the fabric of the vila and the facilities available, It is fairly well appointed but because the furniture is cream it has suffered over time and is a little grubby, this also extends to the white pool furniture which also looked worse for wear. We were very disappointed by the under equipped kitchen which would have been an even bigger issue had there been the advertised 10 capacity as there just arent enough glasses, cups and equipment to cook or entertain with. We didn't want to use the microwave, but it would have been very difficult as it is placed on top of a high fridge with no plug within any reach. Whilst we didn't want to sit in every evening and watch TV, on occasion it would have been really relaxing but the villa has no TV access and as a luxury villa we would have expected this. Also a really good addition would be an iPod docking station. However the WiFi was excellent, quick and a godsend as was our iPad which provided music etc.

The villa is within driving distance of Kas with its lovely cobbled streets and some ok restaurants. We never had anything gastronomic and the food was less than thrilling but some restaurants were quite good. Hotel Cachet on the peninsula, Meis and Ratatouille were ok with good ambiance and very good staff. The supermarkets are a bit hit and miss and wine is quite expensive.

We loved big pebble beach and the little cafe bars on the cliffs in Kas, and really like that at these bars and at many beaches they provide sun loungers etc and serve drinks on the beach. The simple food is the best, fish, salad, lovely and fresh and simply cooked.

Myra is a must. The tombs and amphitheater are spectacular. Also take a trip to Elmari, it's a treck but the best market I've ever been to and lovely people. Really well worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Pinara, and it is really important to say that Costa is extremely professional and really makes the booking and admin easy. He provides assistance there which is very effective and useful. We would recommend Villa Pinara and the Kas area to anyone, just rev up the facilities in the villa to match the price point as this let's it down and was really disappointing. The rating only allows for average and then very good. Villa Pinara is above average but would be very good with a little attention to detail.
