Myself and a few friends have just come back from spending an amazing week in Villa Jamera - the villa, its accommodation, views and position is stunning.
Local to all amenities that you would need, great restaurants with loads to choose from, local shops from which you can buy silver fresh fruit and veg.

Stayed for 2 weeks with friends and enjoyed every minute. The villa is well appointed with 3 good sized bedrooms all of which are en-suite. The furnishings and facilities are first class - all you could need. The location, though, is what makes the villa; set on the hillside it overlooks the whole bay area with a good view (particularly from the roof terrace) of the harbour and Kalkan town itself. Unlike a previous reviewer I didn't think the pool was cold at all (he was probably a softy southener) and enjoyed a swim most days. Already contemplating a return visit in 2014.

We stayed at Villa Jamera for two weeks with friends of our Tony and Di. The pictures that are posted on the Jamera web page do no do it justice as the Villa is spot on. three goo bedrooms and the views stunning. Our friends are already talking about coming back next year.

This was our fourth visit to Villa Jamera, our first time for two weeks - and as always when we walk in and onto the terrace that's just how we feel. Absolutely love the villa, he best position, beautifully furnished, comfortable bedrooms - especially the master - all with en suites. The terrace and pool area is fantastic and the views over Kalkan Bay are just amazing. Plenty of shade with umbrellas and palm trees, beautiful pots and plants all around - a very pretty and secluded area to relax all day long with a book, popping in and out of the pool .. and into the kitchen for another glass of wine!

The walk into town is downhill and takes about 10 minutes .. We found it best to do food shopping early morning as you walk down in the shade and taxi back - taxis are very cheap. Fabulous rooftop restaurants in Kalkan - a foodies paradise, could recommend so many .. but it's fun trying them out for yourself. Taxied back from those as well .. couldn't wait to get back to the lovely rooftop terrace for coffee and brandy and enjoy the colourful lights around the bay - nothing to do with the full stomachs of course!

A day out on a gulet is a must. We hired the boat just for ourselves which included a delicious lunch so on those evenings we enjoyed a BBQ at the villa .. shattered from languishing on the gulet all day! There's an excellent Turkish Bath in the centre of town and my husband recommends the wet shave, hair cut, neck and shoulder massage at Sweeny Todds (!!) for about a tenner.

The villa is well maintained by Ali and his girls .. he even delivers fresh bread in the mornings and is willing to sort anything out for you.

If you can lay around relaxing all day as we do .. enjoy the scenery, brunch, the pool, the 'odd' glass of wine, strawberries and ice cream before going out - then you will love it. If you can't .. there's still plenty of other things you can do outside the villa!

Thank you Julie, Rachel and Mark for letting it out and for organising all the transportation.

It really is heaven .. to my little crowd anyway. Already booked for next year!

Had a great week at Villa Jamera with friends. We know Kalkan well and the villa is located in the best area : jawstopping views across the bay, yet only a 10 minute stroll to the centre of town! The villa has everything you need for a great holiday ; poolside is very attractive and there is plenty of shade from umbrellas for the more sensitive skins. Also a very efficient service from the local maintenance staff. A particular feature of the villa is the lovely roof terrace : a perfect place to watch the sun go down with a G&T! Thoroughly recommended.
