I spent 7 days/8 nights at the Tuvana Hotel this July and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotels and experience I’ve ever had. My friend and I were treated so special by all the staff. They went above and beyond in every situation. It’s defiantly a place that will remain in my heart and will visit in the future.

Just returned from a 5 night break staying at the Tuvanna hotel in Antalya. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. The hotel is based on a more traditional theme rather than a modern one and is ideally situated in the ‘old town’ area. The pool area and the courtyard are beautiful and maintained to a high standard. Staff were very friendly and attentive and pleased to help in anyway they can. We booked ‘half board ‘ and were delighted with the quality of the food with an extensive choice of food for breakfast. Have nothing negative to say , beautiful hotel in beautiful city , full 5 star rating from us.

Stayed only two nights. Great location in Kaleici, Antalya’s old town. Really close to everything for exploring the area. Beautiful hotel set across several Ottoman style buildings. They also had a number of restaurants and bars which guests have 10% discount for. We tried the cocktails at Pio Gastro Bar which were really good.

We checked in late, staff were great and fast. Lovely large room. Decor is a bit dated and chintzy but I liked it. Room overlooks the courtyard and one of the restaurants but we didn’t have any issue with noise.

Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice.

The swimming pool and gardens were lovely and a welcome respite from the heat. The staff at the pool were great. Friendly and always on the ball. The lunch we had at the pool restaurant was lovely. Fresh halloumi salad and Cajun chicken was delish.

To top it all off there were some gorgeous tiny kittens living just outside, looked after by the cafe next door.

All in all we had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we came back to Kaleici.

Tuvana Hotel is a collection of old buildings in the middle of the old city. Once you've arrived, location is great for walking around, but our driver had a hard time finding an entrance into the old city and then locating the hotel in the labyrinth of narrow alleys.
Because the rooms are very different, depending on which building you end up in, reviews may describe different things : some may be close to noisy restaurant, others share a corridor ; the layout will also vary.
The guys at the reception are lovely, friendly and eager to assist you with anything.
We were allocated 2 rooms across from the reception ; we got 402 and our friends the adjacent room (which smelled terribly musty and mouldy, so they moved to 803, upstairs from the restaurant). Smoking is a problem in Turkey : even though the rooms are "non-smoking", it obviously is hard to police, as evident in the room. As you are in the "old city", the buildings are old and so are the rooms : high ceilings, very spacious, but tired furnishings - there is a safe (batteries were dead), a small fridge and good wifi. The bathroom is really tired, old style, with a bath (no plug) and nice amenities.
The breakfast restaurant has a lovely setting, but the food on offer is a major disappointment : cordial instead of fresh juice, dry bread, pre-cooked scrambled eggs. We found that they will make you "eggs on order", but only if you ask.
This place has the potential to be an outstanding boutique hotel in a superb location ; it has all the character and historical ingredients. It needs an owner with vision (and money) to revamp it. As it is now, it disappoints.

The good: Location, pool, restaurant Seraser, the manager Tawfik was very helpful. Very good value and good weather this time of year. Definitely the best hotel in the old city (Kaleichi).

The bad: Very slow internet (it seems that 10Mbps is shared amongst 60+ rooms so most times I would get 100-500kbps and 25% of the time no connection at all.). Having stayed in 3 hotels in Kaleichi I think they are all the same due to the copper wire infrastructure. Just outside Kaleichi you get 20+ Mbps. This is a good chance to disconnect from the world.

Room Tip: Some rooms may be noisy due to proximity to restaurant.
