My friend booked this hotel and stayed with us. There are so many bad things. Only one room card given for 2 person, internet keeps jumping out, early morning construction works happen above my hotel room. It’s absolutely atrocious!

Booked 2 rooms for 5 adults and 1 child. Added an extra bed for 300 baht. The extra bed mattress is so thin that it hurts to lie down as you are like lying on the bed frame. Asked to top up another mattress and was told it will be chargeable at 300 baht.

Another room stayed a family of 3, the kid is 4 year old. Asked to provide a towel for the kid and was told not able to. So how is the kid going for her shower?

Rooms cleanliness not up to standard. Was given 2 pairs of dirty bedroom slippers. When asked for new piece, they say it’s not available. How can you provide bedroom slippers that’s used?? Where’s the personal hygiene?

No toothbrush provided. Asked the house keeping and they say go 7-11. It’s really a very lousy customer service. Everything is about money and money. Extra pillows cannot as well.

They keep your passport during check in without informing. I am super angry over this hotel and will not visit them ever again.

Location: Very Good
Nearby : Walking distance to Lee Garden and Central Mall and lot of food and shop nearby. 7Eleven directly opposite the hotel.
Internet : 0/5 Can't access (recommend to buy AIS travel SIM card)
Room : 1/5 (Allow us to check in without cleaning the room and worst thing the room is smoked)
Toiletries : Limited and you need to get your own even for 2 person.
Bedding : 3/5
Cleanliness : 3/5
Breakfast : 1/5 (Not a buffet setting and you only allow to choose 5 dishes from menu. Only coffee, tea and white bread on buffet table. We book 2 Adults and 2 Children but only give us 2 breakfast coupon)
Parking : 3/5 Limited parking within the building but they have parking lots few buildings away.
Reception Counter : 3/5
Overall impression : Low Budget setup with Hotel setting.

I stayed at the Mayflower Grande Hotel at the end of May 2018. Plus points: great location in the centre of town, lots of food around, near shopping area and night market, quiet and clean room, comfortable bed . Minus points: front desk staff speaks very little English, they insist on keeping your passport during check in and limited number of non-Thai language TV channels (but then who goes to Hatyai to watch TV?). Funny thing is that the only international news channel is Faux news.

Checked in on 21st and checked out on 22nd February 2018. Had horrible experience when check out. front desk staff named Yansa is rude and insist of charging for adaptor. We stayed in room 5506 and 5509 in mayflower2 hotel. When check out, we bring one adaptor in and another we left in the room. Informed them but during checkout the staff insist of charging for adaptor even we mentioned that we have returned one to the earlier front desk staff. The staff is without smile and rude.Been to Hatyai so many time and over years really felt Hatyai hospitality is the worst compare to other Thai cities such as Phuket, ChiangMai and Bangkok. It is not about paying for the adaptor but I hope the Hotel manager read this and take necessary action to improve the Hotel service level.
