Nice peaceful hotel suits for families. Staff is very friendly and willing to help at any matter you have! English is ok but there is few who don't know what you say at reception and by pool.
Lots of food at the breakfast and yes, you could eat your lunch at the same time; all the basic toasts, juices, fruits etc PLUS rice, chicken, fish, pork, vegetables in butter, soup.. Never left breakfast by empty stomach!
Although after a week it all tasted the same.. Idea from a guest: change those foods every now and then, after few days? So it won't be all the same for a guest who is staying for longer than a week..
There was 2 pools at the hotel, the "main" pool was usually full and early birds got their towels to the chairs to reserve the seats. It's kinda stupid, this is done by same people every morning and there is no room for new guests.
Massage is good, nice staff over there too! Cleaning ok and done by everyday.
Hotel is very quiet and peaceful, not a place to party..
Made my reservation straight to the hotel by email. Sometimes it took some time to get a reply but I don't know if the mail was sent to some booking center or to reception or were they customizing their guests..?
I've been at this hotel at 2007 and didn't see any mentionable renovations done but still we had a good time.
Taxis were right beside hotel waiting for customers and took you wherever you wanted to go! Prices were negotiable.
WiFi was annoying, You got your code from reseption, but everytime you needed wifi, you had to set those codes again. Even after a few minutes when you go online again after one session. Wifi was free!
If you need a tailor, go right from hotel and there's a very good one on the first building. B0ss -tailor.

This hotel has a beautiful pool in the middle, during the day its filled with laughter of little kids! The hotel faces the sea, has a private beach, in short, it seemed like a paradise! Their rooms are great, clean and you also have the option of renting a bungalow.

Room tip: Get rooms in the centre, away from the road.

Beautiful hotel with more then helpful staff. Some issues with the English but not enough that both parties did not understand. Great buffet breakfast which was included in the price of the room. The restaurant was very pricy for drinks even at 1/2 price happy hour. Can get much cheaper anywhere else on beach road. Check out the family bar next door. Great staff running the place

Great hotel. Staff at the reception had some problems with understanding English.
The room was huge. The room-service cleaned it very well. Towels are changed every day.

There should be internet on the rooms, but during our stay there wasn't.
Breakfast was okay.

The swimming pools were nice, clean and big. Towels were provided by the hotel. You have to use these also on the beach.
The chairs on the beach ware fine, only a small amount. I hope there are more in seizon.

Hotel is even as the rest of Cha-am mostly Norwegian friendly.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of a company trip. It was the first time I had been to Cha'am for several years.

Firstly, the hotel is very, very large indeed and covers a huge area at the 'quieter end' of Cha'am beach. On the Saturday night we were there, the many guests were a mix of Westerners on package holidays and at least three Thai companies on 'bonding and team-building weekends' - so the hotel was very busy.

The hotel is very 'open plan' with plenty of greenery and plants and although not a swimmer myself, the pools looked fantastic with plenty of room to swim or sunbathe.

The hotel is a minute's walk from a quiet section of Cha'am beach - and Cha'am beach can get very crowded with Thai weekenders in other sections towards the centre and the other end of the beach road.

The room itself was spacious and clean but fairly basic. This probably stems from the number of Thai company groups whose members have unfortunately been known to take anything home that's not nailed down. At least that's what other hotel owners have told me.

But the shower was hot, the balcony was a nice place to relax (despite the risk of being covered in pigeon crap) and the air-conditioning was quick to cool the room down.

My two major complaints would be 1) a very poor wi-fi signal (which has been mentioned by many other contributors but is still poor) and 2) a lack of electric sockets to charge your gadgets.

The breakfast buffet was not bad at all. It won't win any awards but I've seen far worse in my travels around Thailand. Plenty of fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, toast, etc. You won't go hungry.

I thought the staff were polite and efficient and check in and check out both took minutes.

I noticed that the hotel also had a very reasonably priced massage service.

We would certainly stay here again, although I can't see how you would make the delights of Cha'am last longer than 3-4 days unless you were a serious beach and swimming pool person.
