After a long drive we arrived in Kiboko's beautiful lodge. It were 3 beautiful days. We visited the village, cooked with the people, visited the watoto project and connect with amazing people SIlas and Cosmas. Fantastic!
The whole staff was extremely friendly and really did everything to make us feel as good as possible.
An absolute must! Karlijn and Joost

It is so inspiring to stay at Kiboko Lodge, knowing that all the men working here are ex street boys and doing a FANTASTIC job. The service is great, the friendliness, they speak excellent english, Frank the manager is very professional and will take you to the Watoto Foundation Project, where the ex street boys get scholing and vocational training. The play sports, music and even practice yoga! This project is every support worth it.
And you have a relaxing true african experience.

There are many superlatives appropriate to this place. It is a well conceived and cozy haven with wonderful views of Mt. Meru, mesmerizing bird sounds, and a faraway "jungle" kind of atmosphere. The staff are sweet, helpful, and genuine, and they provide first-rate service. (The feature that these are all former "street boys" supplies a positive testimonial to the effectiveness of the impressive Watoto Foundation.) During our two and a half days here, we visited the nearby Ngurdoto village, which offers a rewarding and educational slice of local authenticity, and we spent a full day at the nearby Arusha National Park, where we canoed with hippos, observed many giraffes, zebras, and baboons, and enjoyed views of Mts. Meru and Kilimanjaro at the same time. The food at Kiboko is good, the architecture is interesting, cozy, and nicely integrated with the surroundings, the accommodations are unique and comfortable, and the location is excellent. This was a perfect place to begin our ten-day safari. Although we stayed at five other lodgings later on our trip, we remember Kiboko with special fondness. We hope to return some day!

Great stay at Kiboko Lodge, good service and the food was fine. As a birdwatcher it was nice to have breakfast and watch birds at the same time. Not to far from KIA, and close to Arusha National Park.

Stopped for lunch after a strong recommendation. So glad we stopped. Would love to stay here in the future! I wish I would have known about it sooner when I was planning my trip! Amazing view of Mt. Meru!
