Hotel is nice (see other reviews) but in a "high-end" hotel in 2019 it shouldn't be that difficult to have an acceptable room temperature! Looking at the other reviews here, it seems that every 3rd or 4th one complains about this, so management obviously is aware that it is a problem. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONING!

Details: First it took a while to realize that there were two heating systems: forced air and heated floors. Even after I figured that out and turned both off, I still had to have the door to the balcony wide open, with resulting mosquito bites, to be able to sleep. Based on their response to a previous review, they are one of those hotels that has decided that in April air conditioning isn't needed, since it's only April, no matter what the actual temperature is. That's something I would expect in a $40 hotel, not one at this price! MANAGEMENT: YOU KNOW THIS IS A PROBLEM. FIX IT!

Dear our valued guest:

Thank you for your review about your experience in the Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel to share with other travelers.

I am sorry that you did not have an enjoyable stay with us due to cooling and heating system. Jeju Island's temperatures is hotter than one last year. Considering your opinion, we have decided to operate the cooling system. We plan to re-adjust the heating and cooling according to the temperature.

I hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back to the Ramada Plaza Jeju hotel.

Yours sincerely,

Richard Chung

The Hotel is located in the old town with many nice restaurants within walking distance. All the staff are very helpful and the room is spacious. Basic toiletries are available but you need to bring your own toothbrush. We were there in late March and there was no aircon. You can open the window but since we are close by the airport you could occasionally hear a plane flew by. Also, the hotel can arrange full day hire car at a very affordable rate within a short notice. Overall, with its price and service, definitely money well spent.

This is a beautiful hotel and they have an amazing breakfast. One thing we were disappointed in that we were unaware of is they turn off the a/c in the off season (we were here in October). It was very warm and the hotel offered us a floor fan and to keep the door sliding glass door open. The downside of that was the fan would turn off every couple of hours and in the mornings a construction company in the sea would shake rocks. I think it could have been a much more pleasant stay as it is a very nice hotel.

Room tip: ask for waterside for amazing views - fyi they turn off the a/c in the off season

Dear our valued guest:

Thank you for choosing the Ramada Plaza Jeju hotel during your traveling Jeju island and taking the time to share your valuable review.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cooling system. Because we are following seasonal standard temperature in Korea. We offer the fan or hitter without charge for those who feel hot or cold. We are going to look for another ways to make sure that you are more comfortable using it.

I'm looking forward to welcoming you to Ramada Plaza Jeju hotel in the near future again. We will try to make a better service for you next time.

I am stationed in Osan and we took a short trip with my wife to Ramada Jeju Plaza for three days. Great location, easy access to the airport convenient to find places to eat and shop. We were able to call masseur to our room, we had great fun at their casino as well. Though we planned out our trip beforehand the overly comfortable bed got us to sabotage. We are definitely planning on going back there during summer!

Room tip: I am considering to get the sea side view next time.

Stayed in Ramada Plaza Jeju for two nights. I would say the hotel is well rounded and strong on their basics. The room was clean bed was one of the most comfortable I ever laid on. Their breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety provided. We had sea side view room located in 7th floor it was absolutely stunning. Me and my girlfriend we would stroll in the morning to feel the slow and laid back atmosphere of Jeju which was quite different from Seoul vibe. It was also interesting to see the Haenyoes (sea women) going out in the sea to collect sea shells even in the city.

Room tip: Get the sea side view!
