Firstly do not take the bus service, it's a real long walk afterwards unless your up for a 20-30 mins adventure. The beach is clean with clear waters and not crowded. But the tides, those big waves, you dunno when the current gets rougher and your swaying deeper inside.Never felt such strong currents at any beach in my life. There are two places as food options. The one which is close while entering the beach is a cheaper option. The restaurant near the rocks is quite pricey though they had an amazing passion fruit milkshake

If you are visiting Praslin don’t miss this beach! Easiest way to go there is by taxi or car. There is a buss but then you have to walk a bit. Crystal clear water and white sand. Best beach we seen so far and we have been to Mexico, Mauritius and a lot of places around Europe. You can easy get shadow from the trees. Good for snorkelling and don’t miss to go left via a small path. There you find a smaller beach and also Honesty bar where you serve yourself the drinks at a wonderful view. Bonbon plume is a great restaurant. You can order beer to take to the beach and enjoy a nice lunch in the shadow. Don’t miss to reserve front row tables for lunch in the morning!

The beach is one of the best at Praslin and the trip there is an adventure if you decide to take the bus (please do). The driver only had one(!) accident on the way there ;)

We came here early in our Seychelles holiday and really enjoyed it, then came again a few days later after we'd been to more beaches on Praslin, and then moved on to La Digue and went to every beach there. Our conclusion at the end of the holiday is that this is the best beach on Praslin and La Digue because it ticks all of the boxes - it has ample shade, is excellent for swimming and snorkelling, calm waters, no waves, there's a few food places if needed, 20 mins walk from the bus or there's parking available... what is there not to like?! Is there really a better beach out there?!
