Owner description: This small, serene beach is among the most beautiful on Praslin Island.

Took the local bus to look at the Constance Lemuria as we had stayed at the Constance Ephelia already. Anse Georgette is a long strenuous walk through the hotel golf course which is not particularly well signposted if you are a visitor and not resident at the hotel. The beach is quiet and pretty but we didn't find any facilities there and in our opinion there were nicer looking stretches of sand on the island.

You can have this amazing beach all to yourself first thing in the morning but boats will arrive offshore as it is a really picture perfect beach. White sand, clear turquoise water and a bit of shade if you need it. Stunning

To be honest after all the "best beach "hype and the difficulty getting there we were
disappointed . It is a pretty beach but this is the Seychelles for goodness sake . If you want the really pretty beaches spend a few days on La Digue island or the other smaller islands . When you get into the hotel which is the gatekeeper do not imagine you are in for a stroll .Unless you can thumb a lift from a passing golf buggy this is serious stuff ,a long way with a lot of hills .We were told it would take 15 minutes ,it might if you are an experienced fell runner ,think at least 45 minutes if you are an average walker .

We were staying in self catered accommodation elsewhere on Praslin and asked our accommodation owner to make a free reservation for us a couple of days before we wanted to go. This was in March, you may need to make earlier reservations during peak seasons. A reservation is a must - another couple got turned away at the gate when we were there.

The beach really is beautiful but had much choppier waves than we had experienced at Lazio, so it isn't a snorkelling beach. There are signs saying no swimming but we did, as did everyone else, so use your judgement. On La Digue our guesthouse owner explicitly told us not to swim on some of the beaches (the waves were massive there) whereas they didn't say anything for Georgette. As others have said, there isn't anywhere to buy food or as much shade as at Lazio so we just stayed for a couple of hours whereas we stayed longer both times we went to Lazio as we could snorkel etc as well.

The hotel main entrance is close to the bus stop and as others have said, it is about 20 minutes walk through a very pleasant golf course to get to the beach. We had originally planned to walk to Lazio from Georgette but ultimately decided against it when we were planning our days on Praslin. It looked do-able though from the Georgette direction (there were signs) and you obviously need suitable shoes. We climbed part of the way up the hillside to take photos of Georgette beach and it was a good track.

We do find it ironic that people pay literally thousands to holiday at exclusive resorts in the Seychelles for the beaches yet as they're all public you can just make a reservation and go to them anyway and stay somewhere much cheaper. I really hope that the Seychelles government ensures that this is always the case and doesn't let them all become privately owned.

Beautiful bounty beach. Bring your own towel/chair because there is nothing beside some palms to find shadow. I was told the hotel allows only 25 non-residents to pass the hotelground, so if you are not staying, you have to make a reservation a few days before. To put you on the list. Alternative way is to book a “Robinson Crusoe” trip by catamaran at Creol-travel agency. After snorkeling at St Piere , visiting Curiouse BBQ , they drop you at the beach for 1,5 hr. I saw more catamarans anchoring in front of the beach.(aprox €125 pp. Your hotel can arrange either option.
