My husband and I were looking for a quiet and cozy hotel after having checked out of a total nearby disappointing establishment. Upon calling, the owner reassured us that vacant chalets were available. As soon as we arrived there within 10 mins after the call, she took one look at us and decided we were not fit enough for her hotel by coming up with a whole bunch of lame excuses. I left on the spot and vowed to never return to that place

Blue lagoon chalets are situated next to the beach at Anse la Mouche. Transfer from the airport approximately 40 minutes. Chalets are well equipped. Bathroom with shower and toilet en washing stand. Spacious bedroom with safe, fan and mosquito net. Airco additional charged. Our chalet had double bathrooms and bedrooms and was large enough for 4 people.

Large living room, tastefully decorated. Good kitchen with perfect fridge freezer, oven, electric cooker, electric kettle and ample crockery and cutlery. Beautiful garden with spectacular views on the bay, sunset at sea almost from your private terrace.

Our warm hearted and excellent hostess Ferial made us feel more than welcome and was very helpful with a rental car and all kind of tips for sightseeing and restaurants. On the day of departure we were picked up at 18:00 hrs, but we were able to enjoy the entire day at the beach. We could leave our luggage in a room and take a shower and change, got a drink and talked about the beauty of the Seychelles with Ferial until it was time to go.

Small local shops within walking distance, fresh fruits and vegetables and sale of fish along the bay. Restaurant next door (Anchor Café). Bus stop nearby.

The south-west and south-east of Mahe have beautiful white sandy beaches with palmtrees and granite rocks. (take water shoes for snorkeling because of the coral). Recommended beaches are Anse Intendance, Anse Soleil, Anse Royal (Surfers Beach restaurant), Port Launay and Police bay (high waves!). The nature is spectacular everywhere.

Also recommended to go strolling through the charming streets of Victoria for a few hours and visit the colourful and lively market and the Hindoe-temple. Very doable by bus.

For a visit to the mission lodge lookout, take a closer look to the cinnamon trees and visit the tea-factory or the different beaches it is recommended to rent a car.

The quality of the chalet and the almost botanical garden and the hospitality of the owners have increased our holidayfun. We can higly recommend a stay at Blue Lagoon chalets.

Adding to all the complimentary reviews, we also enjoyed this little touch of paradise, reclining on our comfy patio chaises, watching the sun sink into the ocean, drinks in hand. Our accommodation was very pleasant, the kitchen well-appointed. Our delightful hostess Ferial could not have been more welcoming or helpful, with many tips for sightseeing and eating.

The local buses are good but we found it useful to have our own vehicle to make the most of our stay (once you get used to the deep road culverts the driving is easy!).

A stroll around the neighbourhood resulted in some delightful conversations with locals.

Overall a very relaxing couple of days with a view that is hard to beat. Thank you Ferial! Nan & Sally

Hello Sally & Nan,
I was delighted to get your mail; had nearly given up on hearing from you. Thank you very much for the lovely photo of Nan and me and taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. It was always great to see you both on the veranda with your drinks watching the sunset and I enjoyed joining you there sometimes and having those interesting conversations. What a lovely time. I wish you both all the best and am soooo full of admiration for Nan undertaking all those trips near and far. She is my model.
Keep well. Kind regards
Ferial

Beautiful solution, really relaxing, with a fabolous and opened view on the sea, especially on sunset.
The garden sorrounding the chalets is amazing, with all the colours-changing during the day.
The bus is available easy and takes you everywhere in the island.
You have the kitchen, everything is clean.

Hereby there is a restaurant, or you can choose a local take-away with good prices and good food.
The Madame owner of the property is very kind.

Please go to Baie Lazare and also visit the south of Mahè..
