We're checking out today and have a great 4-night stay at Georgina's. It was easy to find being just off Beau Vallon beach. All the restaurants are an easy walk away. We had parking right outside our room. The room was clean and fresh and prepared with flowers for our arrival. Bathroom was brand new with a good shower and drying rack for our beach things. Our room has been cleaned every day and towels were changed once. Not truly self-catering as no kitchen but we had a fridge and plates, cutlery etc. Had to wash up in the main kitchen. But we managed. Would have liked somewhere to do a barbecue also. Breakfast was good with eggs, fresh fruit, toast and tea or coffee. Staff were very helpful and can arrange any trips you might need. In general we had a great stay. Recommended.

Georgina's is literally a stone's throw from the beach at Beau Vallon. For the money it's a bargain. Clean, good air con, all the rooms we saw had a kitchenette. Don't believe Eddies rather liberal estimates on walking distances though!!!

It was a short trip for us partners. The location is really a plus since it is just right across the shore and we were given the room with a balcony facing the beach. Although as partners we were given 2 single beds when in fact we had requested for a big bed. there was a decent breakfast included with the room rate and the lady named Jacqueline has the warmest smile during our stay. The manager, Eddie, came and greeted the guests during breakfast which was really nice as we don't see that often and it is really a nice touch.
Receptionist, Bridgette, needs to be more welcoming to the guests. It felt like were were intruders rather than guests.

The room is spacious and you have a kettle in the room some plates, glasses and cuttleries as well as a fridge. Along the hallway there is a common microwave should you want to heat something.
INTERNET is not free which is surprisingly "disappointing". you have to pay SR80 or EUR5 for a 200mb connection.

Vicinity is always clean. 5 mins away you will find a supermarket and some restaurants and bar. Bus stop is just right outside the hotel as well.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms on the 2nd floor and with a balcony facing the beach! You will love it when you wake up

I thought I would like this place more than I did. It's in a great spot on Beau Vallon beach - one of the more touristy beaches in Mahe. You cross the road and there it is. It is directly across from a creek thing too though.

The rooms are very average. It felt hostel-y. It was cheap (but not that much cheaper) than some other hotels which I now realise looked a lot nicer. The rooms were clean and the staff were lovely and the rooms have AC. The showers were good and the breakfast was nice. I just think that it looks a little tired. All they need to do (in my opinion) is paint the rooms white and put white curtains up and it would look way better. The rooms are terracotta and the curtains are patterned and it felt really dated. I do not like saying negative things about places. I was happy there and felt comfortable, but just making those changes would make a vast difference to the feel of the place.

Nice

Room Tip: I've rated it Budget but at £100 a night it could be really midrange!
